I agree 100 percent. It always breaks my heart when I see this. The sad thing though is most of the adult cats aren't able to be taken in. My husband and I started working in rescues and then started TNRing. It's heartbreaking to see what these beautiful creatures have to go through. We have been able to save a lot of kittens and gotten them off of the streets but unfortunately the most we can do for the mom's is get them vaccinated and fixed. My husband and I didn't like this so we actually have started our own little feral reform rescue of sorts. We will take in feral cats that are either really sick or old and help them become socialized. It takes a crazy amount of work and it can be painful but it's so worth it. So far we have been able to get 6 cats socialized. 2 were 5 month olds, 1 8 month old, and one very old guy. The others the ages arent certain but they are young adults. The old guy ended up staying with us. He stole my heart. He doesn't have any teeth and has some health issues. I couldn't part with him. I wish there was more that we could do for all of the kitties out there in the cold :(

peace azure You dont need to have kids. Of my experiance here’s this. You wont be a slave or a milk machine unless you let it define you. A woman’s milk will only work the kids immune system for at least a month. Formula can work as a replacement if you like instead of breast feeding. It’s not as bad unless you both let it.

They're still a little young to take from the mom unless you want to spend a lot of time hand feeding and stimulating their poops. Sometimes you can coax the mom in, that mom seems pretty trusting but I don't think they're near to the house. In about a week you can take them and they'll adapt well (a little over 3 weeks old), in a week and a half you won't catch them if you haven't imprinted on them.
