Melinda, I’ve only had my Solaris a few weeks and am learning so much from you!! Funny, I’m not a huge fan of that stylus either…but can’t stand fingerprints on the screen. Do you recommend using a mouse? If so, which one should I order as I’ve been told not all plug-in mouse will work. Keep the videos coming!

Hi Alison! Get a cheap, wired mouse. The Solaris loves the $6/7 wired mouse from Amazon. Go figure! 😄 I use the mouse for demos but I don’t like working with it. Some people swear by them so give it a shot and see what you think. 😊

Do you know why glide isn’t a thread choice on the machine? I have a meridian and glide isn’t on the list for thread brands.

Baby Lock is very good about which threads work best with various machines. I would ask your retailer about it and if it’s ok to use, give it a shot. Some machines love certain threads and some don’t. Weird, but even the exact machine can be picky about brands. Finicky little buggers! 😁
