You pretty much nailed the meaning of the song! 5:53 is known as 'blue hour' because its the time the sun is setting where the sky is really beautiful before it eventually falls into darkness. The lyrics, while very upbeat and catchy and fun, have almost a sadness and fear in them bc they don't want the happiness and beauty of blue hour to come to an end but they know it will. that's why they keep saying they want to freeze the moment and stay trapped in blue hours magic forever bc once the sun sets they have to grow up and the world they'll enter into is a lot darker. But for now they will bask in blue hour because they want to feel that happiness forever

If you want a longer dance break, you should really react to blue hour mma 2020 ver. I promise, it's really fun. Warning: really long comment cuz I get excited with txt's lore I'm sorry. The meaning that you figured was on the right track. Since, txt has an official lore now, blue hour means something different and stuff, but as normal mv lore, it's similar to what you said. There are many theories: 1. This one is completely official cuz this is how txt explained the track during their promotion. The korean title of the song is, "you and I found in the sky at 5.53pm" Blue hour= time of the sunset(dusk), on the day they made their comeback for blue hour, the sun was setting at 5.53pm. So they want to freeze time, when the sunset is so pretty and just have fun. 2. Blue hour is one of the two magic hours in a day(the other one being golden hour=dawn). In this hour, they are able to use magic to transfer to another world, where time works differently as compared to the real world. 3. This came out after can't you see me(cysm), where the members have been betrayed or betrayed someone, so here they just wanna forget all about it and enjoy their friendship again. Beomgyu is the first one to walk away from this denial, as shown in the end. 4. It's Alice in wonderland. After the whole drama in cysm, beomgyu dreams the whole thing. In the beginning, when all of them are together at the tree, we see that the ferris wheel is moving anti clockwise, but at the end when we see beomgyu sorta sadly looking at the ferris wheel, it's moving clockwise. Which makes gyu realise that their friendship isn't going to be the same again, and this isnt real. So he wakes up. 5. This is random. That kai is not alive and the rest don't know that his ghost is dancing with them. Because for the whole mv, no member ever comes in contact with him directly. In the dance break, he's the one without a pair, he's the one that pours the water droplet on beomgyu from the leaf and the members laugh at gyu not noticing kai, etc. BONUS: This theory was made very recently. If you look at the txt albums, they start as +[star] then next chapter ×[magic] then again +[eternity]. I'm talking abt the crosses and plus sign on the album design, btw. This is represents a clock. Now, txt has two kinds of albums - minisodes and chapters. In the first chapter, the clock ticked freely(+ × +) but since the next chapter, txt's clock has been frozen. The album after which txt's time froze is the chaos chapter: freeze. Let's hope we see + on any album soon lol, cuz that means that their time unfroze, finally.

I will definitely have to watch the mma performance for sure! I was wondering what 5:53 was a reference to! That makes a lot of sense and is a very sweet addition. I didn’t realize this song came after cysm! TXTs lore is breaking my heart 😂😂🥲

hello you're back and glittery!! welcolm to: bloo soob and pinkyeonjun (lovingly referred to as yeonjun noona by hyukai those couple times and also me). the album version of this song doesn't have the dance break until the chorus and I'm just as mad about it as I am that loser lover doesn't have swears nor does lovesong have the little acoustic part on their respective album versions. justice!! anyway I'm gonna think about the "what are those two doing in a tree!!" every time I watch this video. until the end... where there's only beomgyu in the tree... so sad.
