Tina does not have anorexia. She is maybe intolerant for milk. Ask a veterinarian for advice. She needs attention and more often be fed with little amounts of milk. Than she will gradually get used to more food. If you do not feed her often enough, she will not be able to drink much. A smaller pacifier is also a good idea and some chew toys. She will suck her thumb but gradually get used to a pacifier. Do not worry about that. Every monkey baby sucks her/his thumb or finger. It is normal and not harmful.

Proper nfant primate care is very labor intensive. They're not just dogs or cats. That's why most orphaned primate s are usually given to wildlife rescue centers. Very labor intensive and knowledge required for such advanced animals. If not, then their lifespan might not make it beyond infant stage and never to adults. In primate behavior, the mother's nipple is not only for food but psychological well being and development. For further info look into the research done by psychologist, Harry Harlow. An important figure in child psychological development. With no mother nipple and no social group around (remember, monkeys are social animals) thumb sucking is a self- soothing behavior. In Harlow's experiments, isolated monkeys exhibited thumb sucking behavior which eventually led to the monkey rocking back and forth. The thumb sucking and rocking was similar in behavior to children with autism. Isolation from their normal social monkey groups, or monkey troops, eventually affected their normal mental development as the infant monkeys reached adolescent age. So, if you can, have another companion monkey if possible.

Take the time to “Invest” in Tina by taking her to the vet. We all know this isn’t for the love of animals and is for profit. I’m not judging but the way the other Tina was handled and tossed around from person to person makes everyone very sad. Here is another little Tina#2 who is going to have problems from the lack of care for her.

I am a DVM and would like to tell the owner that the infant's primary need must be satisfied to have a happy monkey and thos is clinging. A toy will NOT satisfy that need because the monkey is still very young. In that age they stay most of the time on their mothers. So, the owner should keep her on her , like caretakers in zoos do with orphans. Secondly, the owner should stop feeding cereal- enriched milk!! Cereals aren't good for monkeys. Then, the quantity should be MUCH less. A thin, lactose-free baby formula up to 12-15 times a day, according to the monkey's appetite. Baby formula from goat milk is expensive but usually works. That's a lot of work, especially because diaper changes go with feeding....but, it avoids bloat and overloading the infant's stomach. Thirdly, the feeding position is completely wrong. The monkey should be upright to avoid swallowing air and too much milk. Lastly, anorexia is a serious condition of an affected human, monkey never become anorectic.

@@DonnasJourneychitchatI think that doctor/chemist gave Tina baby fruit porridge and not an alternative milk.powder. the mix is like a porridge and not baby formula. I think wheat or barley milk.powder is the one most recommended for monkeys. I often think some of those supposed vets or chemists, pluck remedies out of the sky.

Проблема не в Тине, а в хозяйке. Туи делает СЛИШКОМ ГУСТОЕ МОЛОКО С КОМОЧКАМИ. Комочки забивают дырку в соске. Тина просто НЕ МОЖЕТ его съесть!!! А пустышку хозяйка купила ОЧЕНЬ БОЛЬШУЮ!!! Она не помещается в рот Тины. Вроде и делает для Тины, но как-то неправильно.

Да, я тоже так думаю. Очень густое молоко, она с трудом сосёт и бросает, остаётся голодной. Неужели это так трудно понять. Тискает и болтает без умолку, а настоящей любви нет. Надо вам посмотреть видео с Така, Кака, Юю. Вот, где настоящая любовь и правильный уход.

Please listen to what people are telling you. The weaning food the chemist gave you isn't suitable, Tina is too young for it. It is for babies who are transitioning to solid food and is not a complete food. Please go back to the baby formula, make sure you measure it correctly, make sure you give it time to dissolve into the water so it doesn't block the teat - and persevere. If Tina turns her head away, you are taking the bottle away straight away. She cannot get used to it if you do that. Soon she will be too weak to suckle and her body won't be able to digest the milk. Either do what people are telling you or go to a proper vet (not the chemist). Hãy lắng nghe những gì mọi người đang nói với bạn. Anorexia?! Not quite. I saw no sign of forcing herself to vomit and she does not look like a skeleton. You may have to switch the milk she is drinking. Talk to the vet for his suggestion. I've seen people give their monkeys a fruit based milk and they love it.

@lindylou3509 This monkey owner/mother is so stupid. She uses words that she cannot understand. One viewer who knows her said she doesn't understand & speak English so there's a major communication problem here. The fruit based milk that Monkey Bibi & Monkey Sugar drink is that "Fristi" brand, which they've been drinking since they were babies, until they switched to the Formula type, which comes in a can. The poor monkey is suffering.

when you put those mittens on her hands it's stressed her out so bad that it made a bad impression on her so you need to stop doing stuff like that are you going to make her crazy she's not happy because of the things you did to her 99% of those babies suck their thumb even if they're with their I don't know what you're worried about just let her do itshe'll eventually outgrow it just let her do it makes you feel secure. You got to feel upset she can't eat anymore.

Family Tina: Your baby needs a smaller pacifier and some chew toys. You'll need to watch her constantly so that she won't continue to put her thumb in her mouth. There are ways of enticing her and you can probably ask the doctor/veternarian on advice to prevent Tina from sucking her thumb because it will cause damage later on.

Please listen to the comments and act on them. The milk cereal needs to be changed.... Smaller pacifier nipple. Please hold and hug her for longer periods. She seems so depressed the poor monkey baby 😢 I suggest you take her to work with you and keep her snug against your body when you work in a comfortable loose scarf tied around your shoulder across your hip. Like a hammock effect in front of your body. Tina needs constant love and care. Leaving her at home makes her feel so lonely and unhappy. Please listen to us and try for Tina's sake. She needs to see a vet regularly on progress and good advice ❤ 10:10

Hi Thuy, perhaps Tina doesn't like the milk because it is to rich for her. Take her to the vet and get them to check her out and ask them what the other alternative is. You can buy baby food supplements that you can add to ordinary milk, but ask a vet first. Tina is to young to have Anorexia. Anorexia is a disease of the mind causing weight loss. She may be intolerant of powdered milk. At this age a vet is the best solution. xxx

Tina needs formula milk for pets, no grain porridge! She can't digest the starch of grains well, because monkeys have a lack of special encymes! Tina is a baby monkey, not a human baby! She doesn't need a doctor, she needs the right food according to her species! Milk, and a little bit of soft ripe fruits. No starchy food like grains, rice, corn, potatoes and bananas! Starchy food makes monkeys ill, they get stomach ache and diabetes from it! Monkey MewMew recently died of diabetes in the age of only 6-8 months, he also had to eat starchy food like most of the other KZbin monkeys. When they get diabetes, they die very soon and disappear from KZbin. That's one if the reasons that we only see very young baby monkeys on KZbin!

Mom I thought she liked the fruit milk the Dr gave you. She needs to go back to Dr because of not drinking milk . She must have some sort of milk like almond or coconut milk.

It is obvious by now that Tina does not like this milk & cereal mix combo with a Peach flavor. That is why she has very poor & low appetite & looks stressed & hungry. When Monkey Bibi & Monkey Sugar were Tina's age, they were given that yoghurt based milk called 'Fristi' brand. They loved that milk. They were also given powdered Baby Formula. I've never seen this milk & cereal combo before. My guess is Tina does not like that Peach flavor. She needs so much milk at this stage that if this doesn't get corrected, she'll dehydrate & get very sick. Kissing, hugging & sniffing this baby monkey is not what she needs. She needs the proper dose of nutritious milk & to be cuddled.

En vez de caminar, correr o jugar solo se entretiene con el dedo en la boca por eso es muy pasiva se la pasa solo haciendo eso hasta cuando duerme
