I flew this plane today and then some free flight HL gliders. Doing outside loops with the Baby Nobler seems easy now, on to new stunts.

I crashed a couple more times because of lack of line tension. So I added a penny to the nickel I already had for tip weight, this seems to help a good deal.

Thanks for posting this. Could you tell me how you fastened the battery to the plane? I have made a couple 1/2 a planes with a battery bay in the wing. I would like to retrofit some of our old glow models to electric without making a mess.

Haven't flown 1/2A since I was a kid, but we always used non-metallic lines. Dacron maybe? Perhaps the metal lines are too heavy.

I switched to Dacron, many people use the non-stretch fish line now including me.

Are you able to send a link on what kind of electric motor you put on this? I have a couple of electric planes but they came with what motor to put on. With kits like this there isn't any guidance on what you should put on the plane.

I do not know but heavier than glow powered and less power but it does fairly well.

Do you have a description or video of the stooge you use?

I am using Brodak stooge but for 1/2A I have a piece of line with a loop in it on the plane and that goes through the pin in the stooge. Using the flip down portion in the stooge did not work too well in small planes.

Do you have a measurement for the amount of right thrust that you settled on?

No I do not but it is way more than normally used, A little more power would be good.
