Beni is such a star. I do love him. Its good to see he hasn't lost his appetite, love him. They are all so adorable, hugging the staff. They are strong enough that they could hurt them, but they seem so gentle. Lovely.

This isn't an update. it's a repeat from the tv show a few years ago so it's weird they would post this when they know everybody is asking about him. They are being strangely silent about the current status of Beni. His group was released without him on the island. Rumor is going around that he may have passed away and they are avoiding saying anything for fear of upsetting people. There's a video on facebook called "Big Boy Beni's Remarkable Life" that was just posted on March 12th. Odd they would not post an update on the most well known one.

Good to see that Beni is back in action! 🦧 We just uploaded a story about the true cost of wildlife tourism and during our research, we came across many cruel stories where orangutans were suffering. Orangutans belong into their natural forest and not in entertainment shows! Therefore it's lovely to see that there're still happy orangutans around, which are enjoying nature or in Benis case forest school.

I'm not saying this isn't true but just remember everyone has their own personal reasons to be biased and to see data in a special way so that it favors their needs. When you are talking about organizations that live off of the money given to resolve a problem its conducive to not solve the problem so swiftly or to exaggerate the extent of it.
