Hi A C you said if I’m not mistaken. You don’t know how to start your chain closing the 1st chain.take your thread hold close to the end fold one end to ver the other hold the 2 pieces together put your needle in the hole wrap your needle pull through holding the ends pull closed that’s how you start your first chain.keep up the great work.love ve your work

Use the measurements from a long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt/sweater you already have. Add an inch or 2 unless the clothing item is already loose fitting. Measure the length and width of the back part. Same for the sleeve. Once you have your measurements, then apply the patten.

Foundation chain was 11.5 inches but can u tell proper chains i mean how many chains u made please in the starting

My tutorial a are based on measuring not number of chains. It depends on the size of your yarn, 11.5 inches could be 20,25,18 etc depending on your yarn or even tension. So please if you like to recreate this, simply make a chain that is 11.5 inches, the measurements matter, the number of chains doesn’t it, it will be a different number for everyone. But if you use same measurements, the size is the same in the end. It might not be what you are used to, but if you try it, you will realize, you will get better results.

Measure some clothes that the children already have and use those measurements. All kids are different.
