A nursing pillow! Makes such a difference. Also even if you’re exclusively breastfeeding get a pump! It helps generate more milk and helps you with that stash! The Lovevery activity gym is awesome (love everything from the brand). Lastly, the burpy bib from the brand Aiden & Anais… it’s a large burp cloth with snap buttons to turn it into a bib for baby (in that super soft muslin material). Good luck!!! I’m due any day now too lol.

A Fravita night light is my newborn essential that I feel is so underrated but so so helpful! It’s a portable night light for nighttime diaper changes and feedings. I love it. Rather than turning on the room light or lamp. The light goes from various dim to bright light. It’s such a helpful tool. Also wet/dry washable bags for the diaper bag! Essential for putting dirty cloth diapers & soiled outfits if you’re somewhere outside your home!

-Little Sleepies zippies are NECESSARY! Expensive but my son who is 7 months still fits in his 0-3 month one. So soft & cozy! -some sort of heat / frozen combo thing for your ladies in case of a clogged duct! -My daughter barely ever drooled so we had bibs but didn't "need" them but not my son goes through 7 a day. -we loved the boppy lounger but you're snuggle he seems to be a similar idea

My daughter LOVED the snuggle me ! She was so chill and calm whenever she was in it, and would sometimes nap in it. (Supervised) I also adore the Kyte baby brand, such soft material and the cutest prints. Here are some things that might come in handy for you; Reusable nursing pads Silver nursing cups (Will save your nipples I promise) Hands free pump (Isn’t a must, but it won’t tie you to one space while you pump) Humidifier (Baby will get sick, this helped my girl when she was stuffy) Sound machine ! (Helps drown out noises outside of the room that might wake baby) Portable sound machine Baby monitor Bottle warmer - Unless you want to do it the old school way, more power to you :) Zipper onesies, nobody has time for those damn buttons lol Good Luck my friend, your going to do great !! Just remember that both you and baby are learning all about each other and it might feel overwhelming at times. Just know you are doing your best, also please remember to take breaks. You can't pour from an empty cup. 💝

I've never seen the onesie that ties at the bottom but the other one you asked about leaving the bottom open yes you do. I think its to make it easier to change them but also my own opinion so they could just be more comfy once in awhile but warm without constantly being in clothes if that makes sense lol

I’m telling you the most important thing are the witch hazel pads, they’re convenient and you will want them, you will want them more than anything lol I was a nanny for many years but things change I haven’t been a nanny for a while. While I completely agree with the cloth diapers they are not gonna be fun lol but you’ll get the hang of it. I would recommend having a handful of disposable ones just in case and I have to tell you with a boy after they are circumcised if you don’t have the diaper folded inward oh my you will have a mess because you will have to Vaseline all over, he will tinkle right outside of the diaper. Also if you buy some draft or whatever baby detergent you were going to use and make sure you wash everything before you bring the baby home, first of all it’ll be satisfying and also convenient. You are going to do great and you are going to be a wonderful mother I promise. When things get hard, call someone, ask don’t feel embarrassed we all have been through it I promise you. I’m so happy for you. I’d say you have a bit of a surplus of the muslin blankets but they are also so versatile that you can use them as make shift burp cloths, nursing covers, or lite covering for baby in summer. I would recommend more bibs and burp cloths!

My babies are 32 and 28 respectively but when they were little, 6 months until about 3, I had been given baby sleeping bags. It was a nursery themed quilted rectangle that zipped. It was wonderful for cold weather and if you were going somewhere to visit, you could unzip it and put it on the couch or floor for your baby to have a place to play that you knew was clean. When my grandson was born 4 years ago,I found some on Etsy for my daughter. She lived here in Florida at the time so they didn't get much use but she now keeps them in her car for when they leave pool therapy in Nashville in the winter.

Pretty sure you have a rocking chair… but that was a definite must for me in the beginning. A Hatch baby rest also helped with the white noise option. Still use it with my toddlers now! God bless your baby! So excited for you ❤

Praying you have a safe delivery! My must haves are a comfortable rocking chair especially for breastfeeding. A hatch sound machine. A soft play mat or rug for the baby to lay/tummy time.A really good quality baby monitor. A high quality jogging stroller like the B.O.B even if you don’t jog it’s great for daily walks once the baby is a little older

My baby’s nostrils were too small for the frida snot sucker to be effective. I ended up getting an electric nose suction device safe for NB with different suction levels. Just some thoughts, they get snotty and have tiny airways. I’m a nurse and always freaking out about her airway and making sure she can breathe well :) bless your family and have a safe delivery

A certain degree of swaddling comforts a baby because they are so snug in the womb. Baby may easily startle and being swaddled (lightly) will help him/her to not feel like they are falling, at least early on. Baby will let you know if swaddling is not cool with him/her. My bday is May 16th…we shall see when sweet blessing comes. Did you tell us your due date?

I went to search for you after realizing I haven't seen any new content and I was so excited to find out that you and Rafael had a baby! Congratulations! Motherhood is the greatest blessing! We battled infertility for 6 years and we tried seeing fertility specialists, injections, the whole nine. Finally we gave up after my mental health declined from the whole thing, and we got back into church and I gave it to God. Less than 3 months later, we were pregnant with our daughter! During COVID, we had 1 slip up and we were pregnant with our son. Lol. So now we have a 4.5 year old daughter, Savannah Grace and a 2.5 year old son, Jackson Matthew. Greatest blessings from God himself! He was waiting for me to turn to Him for help!

Mom here the Hakka will be your holy grail! I know you said you want to exclusively breastfeed however in the first few weeks you will most likely oversupply so feed baby on one breast attach Hakka to the other one and this will help you build a hugeeee freezer stash in the beginning. Cause one thing ppl didn’t tell me is when you feed your baby the other boob leaks, so you might as well catch it with the Hakka or use a catcher✨ congrats mommaaa

That’s a nice size for the caddy. And it’s nice that it has some handles. You’re probably going to have to stock it up with diapers at the end of the night or in the morning. It’s convenient bc if someone asks you were are the diapers you can just be like “bring me the caddy that’s on xyz place”

So happy for you! Children are a blessing! Look into the happiest baby on the block dvd. It gives you lots of tips to comfort a newborn after birth. It’s a life saver. Baby boot camp is no joke! Also look into your baby can learn. I have 4 boys, ages 5-17. I homeschool all of them. I used that program for all my boys. I started at 3months. It use to be called your baby can read. Bought the whole program in 2005 with my first son. All my boys were reading by their first bday! Made homeschooling a million times easier! Highly recommend! Best of luck on this beautiful journey! I would also recommend getting a homeopathy first aid kit and the Helios ABC. the frida snot sucker is great! Organic coconut oil has been a holy grail for me too. Helps so much from nappy rash, to redness and little spots

We did neutral colors for our first daughter. Her room was olive green, tans, browns, and it was all deer and baby deer decor. Organic cotton. We did cloth diapers until 9 months. Once food changed the stool I couldn’t wash the cloth diapers anymore 😂 New born faves- sound machine, shutters in the baby room, and lots of books. I read a kids a Bible to both our daughters. We have read the Bible every day to them but one day in my oldest life. I didn’t swaddle. Completely. I left their arms free. For me I would say all the healing items for below and and breasts as you nurse. Just a tip - change breast pads out often so you don’t get any infections on your breasts.

Hakaa is more for catching leaking milk from the opposite side you’re nursing on! Great way to put back milk for bottles or baths. Baby might eventually need a bottle in case latching is not working out or you have to leave during a nursing session!

Babies love to be swaddled to help them feel safe and tight like they do in your tummy. They move in your belly, but they are also tight. It also helps calm them and help them sleep 🤍 I use the love to dream swaddle where the arms are not strapped down. My babies don't like to sleep with their arms down, so this works great.

Not sure if I missed it but I didn't see a baby healthcare kit it comes with comb which is good if they start getting cradle cap,nail clippers (I did see the electric ones) thermometer, medicine dispenser, also baby wash, hand mittens so the baby don't scratch there face.

Love these items! The only one I would recommend to get rid of and get a better one would be the nuna car seat. I had the same one and it’s just not good for newborns (the position of baby and the curve causes chin to neck which isn’t safe) so I ended up getting the maxi cosi pebble which is soooo much better! I would definitely look into getting a better car seat ☺️ x

Love this!! Some of the same items I got or had on my registry. I got the snuggle me feeding pillow this time (3rd baby) and love it, but we love snuggle me, I have 2 baby loungers and a toddler lounger we keep one of the couch, and one in the bathroom, the other we keep in the vehicle for traveling, we also have the baby delight chair for travel but at home we have the organic Nuna leaf it’s swivel swing it holds up to 150 lbs so all 3 of my kids use it, I have 2 kids on the spectrum. The last things I’d suggest is a sound machine my MIL got us a cheap one off Amazon it’s a tiny black box but we use it a ton and travel with it. If you do a crib the Newton mattresses are the best. Also the Lovevery play gym set is incredible! It’s been our favorite play item with our baby girl.

I waited until after birth and after I showered to wear my gown. It wasn’t the frida one but that way I didn’t have to worry about getting my gown dirty. I also wasn’t able to get out of bed for at least 24 hours after having my baby due to needing medication for preeclampsia symptoms.

💛👶My baby must haves. It's been 22 years so I'm sure i'm forgetting many but here you go!👶💛 Small diaper caddie is good for placing around house where you're likely to need to do a quick diaper change, like in the living room. When you're exhausted, those few steps saved are wonderful! Recliner for nursing the baby. I opted for a lazy boy and 22 years later it's still looking great! I found it more comfortabl than those wooden chairs. Perhaps there are better choices now but definitely get something comfy because you will be using it quite a bit. Boppy pillow--a must for nursing moms. Not sure if they have an organic one but if you go with a different brand know that the size and fluffiness matters. Thermometer- first thing your doctor will ask when baby gets sick is what's the babies temperature. I just got a glass one and measured u der their armpits but that was hard when baby was crying at 2 am with a stuffy nose and fever. They have so many easier options these days. Night light for late night diaper changes or breastfeeding sessions. I just used tiny lamps I already had and used one by the crib and the other by my recliner.

One thing idk if you got with breastfeeding you leak a lot especially at first, need like nipple pads essentially that absorb so that your shirt doesn’t get soaked, and nursing bras which I am sure you have on your list but these helped me a lot at the beginning when you’re fumbling around trying to get baby nursing, idk if you also showed a nursing pillow you can use a regular pillow but the nursing one was nice and just put baby on it so you can rest and relax and hold baby without your arm going numb because baby can be breastfeeding for like 45-60 minutes sometimes and it gets exhausting

Tip for the future: silicone items take on taste of soaps and cleaners used on them, so done let them soak in soapy water or put in dishwasher unless you want baby’s food to taste like soap. 🤣 learned this the hard way. I took a sip from my daughter’s silicon straw one day and it tasted like straight dishwasher soap 🤦🏻‍♀️🫠

Hi!!! I would Return snuggle me. It’s sister doc a tot was recalled and it’s the same design and same danger. Love the earth mama nipple butter was a life saver. Not going to tell you how to parent but I’m scratching my head at the no swaddling. Their startle reflex will wake them up constantly and you will have one grumpy grumpy baby.

I use to be a nanny and worked with a baby that used cloth diapers and then a non toxic diaper for bedtime. It’s not so bad but you definitely need a toilet sprayer for poop diapers.

I think it’s the other way around regarding milk. Breastfed babies drink more since breast milk is thinner.

Whatever you do don’t vaccinate your baby. My son wasn’t vaccinated and he is soooo healthy and doesn’t ever get sick.
