Thank you for the rule of thumb and how to space stitches going down the side of a blanket. I’m not experienced enough to visualize it well but your measurement makes a lot of sense. I don’t know if it will work on every pattern but it’s nice to have in the back of my mind. Thank you again.

Wow!!!!!x Thank You so much. I've had to rewind Your video 30times in order for me to learn double crotchet a thing I've never done but because You are a good slow tutor, I took it that I'll learn something today.It's been my wish to be a Crotchettor than a Knitter but last yr when my Paralysis from Stroke started showing to lose the battle I started watching elderly women knitting everytime I got wheeled to our Rehabilitation Centre then I realised I could try to knit, it wasn't easy but I failed to crotchet so i gave up crocheting to knitting. But watching Your video today for the First time,i've said let me try only to find I have 10 different sizes brand new crochet needles, I tried a chain of 50 but double crotchet is still a dilemma and I've watched this video 30x and am taking a break coz I need to start all over again.Thanks for teaching us how to crochet a beautiful baby blanket.

Excellent explanation. I complete a knitted Afghan just like this but since I like crochet more I decide to copy yours and I love the way that you explain it even though I've been crocheting for well over 60 years . I like how you twist the chain 8 there's no gaps. Excellent explanation for new crocheter. Excellent voice as well! Thank you.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful afghan! This is a pattern my grandmother hand wrote for me as I was learning to crochet. Also, the tip of twisting the loop is a great idea. Thank you, for all you share with your crochet friends. I have started this yesterday, using yarn from my stash in this same color pattern.❤️
@annab57336 жыл бұрын
I like your version of the Jacob's Ladder pattern. I too twist my loops, but I usually twist the top loop after I thread it through the twisted loop below it. I have designed at least two patterns using the twisted loop design. One was combining it with a ripple pattern. Another I designed used a cro-hook to make a reversible Jacob's Ladder pattern. I won a pot holder contest with the ripple design, and I've entered an afghan contest using the cro-hook pattern. The verdict is still out on the afghan pattern. I had fun making it even if it doesn't win any prize in the contest.
