Also another idea for the basket are tumblr cups especially stanley cups and and mini lotions and mini hand sanitizers cuz our hands get super dry from washing our hands frequently!

L&D nurse here! We loveeee when patients bring us gifts, it’s so thoughtful! I personally love gum/mints, pens, chapstick, and caffeine. That Alani flavor is my favorite! Depending on what hospital you give birth at, they may have separate labor & delivery and postpartum units. Additionally, night shift nurses are often forgotten. So you may need 2 boxes for L&D and 2 boxes for postpartum to accommodate day shift and night shift. Obviously you do not need to bring anything, but those are my tips! :)
