NICE! Hope we get to see some of the Swooping Course! Any chance the Instructor will roll a camera on you as you come in? Cut that in with your Helmet Cam and that would be awesome! Or, maybe you can get your Wife to roll a camera? Looking forward to more footage of the Swooping when your not in DCS!

Very cool I like to watch the locals where I live fly paramotors and do kite boarding on the frozen lake. Looks fun great video 😀😀

Niiice jump! A tip I got is that you can "flare" with the front risers by slowly moving them up the closer you get to the ground, so you end up with level flight at ground level and full toggle flare left!

Amazing I wish I had the guts to do this!

In Caps voice "Kortana did a thing" That's awesome Kortana. Also I have a question, what is more worry some smashing into the ground or getting smashed by a landing airplane?
@KortanaDCS Жыл бұрын
Oh, absolutely getting hit by a landing aircraft. A really bad landing can kill you, but a hit from a propeller will kill you in a spectacular fashion

So how do you go about skydiving?

As in how does one get into skydiving, or how did I get into skydiving?
@josiahrickens4556 Жыл бұрын
@@KortanaDCS the first cause I want to skydive but I'm not sure what other than money it takes plus how many times do you do tandem before your free to jump on own
@KortanaDCS Жыл бұрын
@@josiahrickens4556 Well, so step one would be to find a dropzone near you. Beyond that, it really depends. In most cases, you'll do about 3 tandem jumps before you no longer have an instructor strapped to you. After that, you'll have somewhere around 7 jumps with an instructor (or instructors) either holding on to you or near you in freefall (the number really depends on how quickly you pick up the required skills). You'll be alone under parachute for these jumps, but an instructor will be giving you instructions via radio. After these jumps, you'd be on solo status, and can jump by yourself. In order to get the point where you are licensed and can jump with other licensed skydivers, you have to do an additional series of coach jumps. The minimum number to get all of this done and get an A license is 25 skydives.
