Baby Surprise

My mother in law had no idea that 15 years after my husband had a vasectomy that he had it reversed. It's now been over 2 years since we first visited the amazing team at ICVR in Tucson. Two surgeries later and what seemed like never ending tests, we are finally expecting the miracle we prayed for. We decided to surprise my mother in law with the news by showing her the newly decorated "guest" room.

We had been trying for two years, after two Reversal surgeries, monthly testing, and we even had an IUI round scheduled. I found out I was pregnant and after some testing I was confident that I would carry to term. No the tests didn't tell me that, but it was just my gut feeling. I immediately started on the nursery even before telling my husband. I surprised my husband with the news on Father's day weekend. My husband's reaction is in another video. My husband was so exited and wanted to tell his mom. I said I wanted to tell her when the nursery was done. My husband decided to change his Father's day plans and we went crib shopping. Yes, I have had miscarriages. There is never a moment until the baby is born that you couldn't lose the baby in the womb. I believe life starts at conception. Every moment thereafter is precious and should be celebrated. I knew in my heart this baby would would survive and he is such a miracle for our family. #HestonRidge

Dippy?? My husband had a Vasectomy 15 years prior to this. She had no idea that he went and had it reversed. She never thought that she would have another grandchild. Her youngest son was killed a week before his 18th birthday in 2013. Needless to say this was shocking and extremely exciting for her. So no, not "dippy" just a wonderful loving mother and the best grandma a kid could hope for. 💙
