My friend has this seat for her twins. We are having trouble figuring out how to use the shoulder belt and how it fits through the hole where it says the shoulder belt can be placed. Can't figure out how to get that shoulder belt into the slot where it says. A video on this would be very helpful since it was skipped in this video above

How do I make loose the car seat belts? I have a 2 year old girl and whenever she uses a thick jacket the seatbelts are really tight.

Yes. Once you figure it out its easy. You need clever. I used a small crowbar. There are two openings you slide ti in there. easy.

Cut to the chase, everything you need to know before you buy.1. the shoulder straps are much harder to adjust then shown because the metal push binds. 2.The buckle connector on the seat is way too close to the child's crotch area and can not be adjusted. this is on a 3yr. old 36lb. child. 3. taking the back off the booster is tough if you need to disassemble to clean or maybe even return it.pros.1. cost 100 bucks at walmart.

+Clara Phillips Please reference page 17 of the manual. The Hybrid provides the requirements for weight and height, stage 1 = 1 year of age (minimum) & between 22 - 50 lbs, and 29" - 48" length.

I hate this car seat the crotch was too tight on my daughter no mater how much i tried to fix it, it just ended up brusing her inner thighs. It needs to be a bit furthet out or have a second slot for an adjustment option. If I could find the receipt i would return it.

She 4 and 32 lbs not very big but it cause so much irritation down there that now we dont use the the buckle its just a high back booster

This video is BS.. as you can see they don't give you a full view of the childs head. It is cut off in the video. This is because the headrest doesn't adjust. Lower for toddlers (like my son who just turned two). Headrest design is BS because it provides no side impact protection for a small child's head. I feel like my son's neck would snap and break if we were to get into an accident from the side. The top of his head barely reached the bottom of the head rest and he is 34" in height. Also, the crotch area seemed a little tight, which could be good but also could become uncomfortable once it gets cold out. They did think ahead a little bit with that one though, and they give it a piece of cloth padding.

Hate this car seat. Putting it together was very hard. It was hard getting the back part to snap into the booster part. Now that I need to wash the lining I can't get the thing apart. I wouldn't recommend this car seat to anyone.

The video is just a basic video, the booklet that came with it doesn't really explain how the car seat sould be installed. Because there are multiple set up. Confusing indeed. There are other videos out there that do a better job explaining the set up.. It does take some doing, but once its in, its in.. The only complaint i have is the top tether, doesn't seem to help a whole lot.

Why are people showing how to put it together but not how to put it in booster mode?? That's just as important. This thing is extremely frustrating to take apart. Nobdoy should have to stand on a damn car seat to take it apart and put it in booster mode. They should have put this together better than they did.

I would not recommend this seat. VERY difficult to get a tight install (not moving more than an inch side to side). I was only able to finally achieve a proper install using the "front entry" belt path, but the instructions were vague on how exactly to route it so you're left to decipher how to do so from a small drawing of it. Also there is only one crotch position so it's uncomfortable for an older child. The head rest is incredibly hard to use and the yoke for the harness strap/adjuster is like putting together a puzzle. Incredibly challenging in almost every component AND it can only be used in 5 point harness mode until 50 lbs!! These days, that really is not best practice to put a 51 lb child in booster mode...many inexpensive carseats are available with a forward facing harness up to 65 lbs...and they aren't such nightmares to use!! Stay away from this product.

Worst seat on the market!! Buyer beware do not buy it! I struggled to get it installed it’s impossible to tighten it! I took it to my local fire department and they were able to get it tighter then I could but they had a hard time with it! Took two firemen to install it and still not very tight.

this seat is garbage. it can only be installed safely with the anchor points. if you try to route a seatbelt through it according to the instructions it allows the seat to twist up on one side. complete crap. returned it.
