How cute are my baby Triops?! They just hatched and are about 1mm or so in length... I had to zoom in a LOT to capture them on camera!

well after trying for nearly 2 days I can finally see 1 little speck. and mine is in rain water

+Sarah Brodie Triops do take around 3 days to hatch generally, and many factors affect how many hatch and can survive the rocky ground of infancy! Rainwater shouldn't be too bad, as most of their natural habitat is freshwater from rain. What other elements do you have (in the tank, the tank itself, heat and light conditions, etc)? I'm a self-confessed Triops nerd and have been growing and breeding them for years, so I'd love to give advice to anyone new to them :-)

Terr0rByte1 temp is around 25c and I just use a 60watt bulb for the light. I have their container floating in my fish tank to keep the water warm

Well that temperature's relatively good. Make sure it doesn't go lower than that. I'd recommend not feeding them anything for the first three days or so, and when you do, only once a day with a very small amount of whatever you plan to feed them - they're so small, they can easily die from overfeeding. Also, after a week or so, it would be good to put some kind of substrate in the container - when they start shedding their exoskeletons, they need the ph level of the water to be just right, and if it isn't, they struggle to shed and can die entangled in them. Anything that's okay for freshwater fish should be fine. Hopefully this will help your Triops thrive :-)
