She's getting so big! Cannot believe it's been 7 months. Keep up with the signing. She'll definitely pick it up, as well as say the words. You two are amazing mommies! I'd definitely keep trying to leave the room when she's playing or sitting in her chair. She probably gets separation anxiety and has to be able to see you at all times, because that's what she's used to. As she gets older, she'll need to learn to be independent and play by herself, knowing you're still around, but not in her sight. Will you be doing baby led weaning? When you do update videos, you should put in clips of her standing and cruising around furniture, playing, doing the zombie crawl, eating, getting into things, etc.. It'll be nice for you as well, because then you can look back at it when she's older. Also, can you tell us her weight and height and the percentage? Congrats on the new gig, Ivy! It's really common for baby to have separation anxiety somewhere at 6 month to 9 month. Baby really loves her parents and don't want to be forgotten or left behind. Usually it taked about couple weeks. Some say that you shuold learn your baby to be alone or leave for friends etc. But I have heard and read that better is to show the baby that you are not leaving her/him and be there for her/him. That way baby feel safer and learn that he/she will not be forgotten.

Luna is so beautiful. Teaching her sign language is very cool. Are you using cartoons, apps or books to teach her? Keep it up, I've worked in child care and it's so nice to be able to communicate with a lil one.

::Tip for the airplane ride:: If no one has said it already: have Luna drink something as the plane goes up so her ears pop naturally with the increasing altitude. If not, it will hurt her and once a child starts to cry over that, it is hard to get them to drink anything.
