Hey! You say that with dietary changes you have more babies hatch. I am not breeding, but would love to know what you use for the health of my uromastyx.

Don't overfeed with carrots and similar beta caratine veggies as it could lead to vitamin A poisoning

I heard these Moroccan Uros are larger than the average Uromastyx, can they reach 20 inches.

Can more than one be kept together? When they were all on the table, they didn’t seem to mind each other.
@UltimateExoticsReptiles5 жыл бұрын
HeadBandit Yes you can keep more than one together as long as they the same size. If you have one that is bigger than the other it can bully it and stress it out. Also two mature males during breeding season may fight.

Great video. I just bought a captive bred Moroccan uromastyx baby today. It’s about 4 inches long. I’ve been reading about them for years and have watched many videos. But they don’t often address whether there’s a difference between housing/care for adults vs babies. Do you recommend having a water dish for babies? I’ve read on some care sheets that hatchlings should have water available. But at what age do you take it away? I’m keeping mine on paper towels. At what age could I safely transition to a soil/sand substrate? Thanks!

Hi there! We have small water bowl in at all times with our adults and our hatchlings. After about a year you can start keeping them on a sand/soil substrate, thanks.
