We’re you joking ? Not criticizing I just don’t get why skip the actual set up from start to finish. That’s what I needed to see. I use mine all the time on road trips. My outlet turns off when I turn off my truck. So it’s not constantly on and if I need to, I can push the on and off switch.

Does the camera shake much on the headrest when you drive?

Not at all. It’s been pretty solid. Only shaking I get is when my son decides to kick the camera.

Did the sticky part on the monitor actually stick. Mine won’t stick

I have issues getting anything to stick to my dashboard. I think it’s the texture that doesn’t allow the adhesive to stick . I just placed it in a nook on my dashboard.

The cord on mines don't look like it'll reach the rear backseat in my car.

The cords I got with the kit were super long and it was long enough in my truck. I know there are several brands out there.

It hasn’t got necessarily blurry, but it has gotten graining at nights. Where it’s so pixelated but eventually adjusted. If you’ve already messed with the screen settings like contract and brightness, I would return it. Sometime you get a dud.

How do you mount in AC vent?

I kept it mounted on the dash but if it came a vent mount, it just slips on the AC fins but I think the camera would be too heavy and if you hit a bump, it would fall off

Sometimes the cigarette lighter or 12 volt plug gets the power from the ignition. If that doesn’t work and you got it from Amazon, definitely take a advantage of their return service.

If you got it on Amazon, I would return it and purchase it from another seller on Amazon. I’m still using and love it.

Try adjusting the contrast. If not then it might have a bad night vision lens. I would turn it. Thank God Amazon is so easy when it comes to returns.
