Amazing! I'm from Kent and bought 2 baby whites a couple of weeks ago. First time owning any kind of amphibian and I love them so much! They were SO SMALL when I got them (only a couple of weeks old)! I'm keeping them in a 45x45x45 exo terra with paper towels as substrate and a mixture of potted live and fake plants (and a water bowl of course!) Any advice would be amazing as there is not much out there (especially in the UK!). I feed them small gut-loaded crickets dusted with calci dust each night and remove any uneaten ones in the morning :)

Great video and awesome channel! How old do you reckon the frogs are here? I recently got three white's and I decided to put them in their adult sized (bioactive) enclosure right away, even if the frogs are the same size as yours here. The enclosure is 45x45x90 cm (Exoterra), and they use every single inch of it! They go absolutely all over the place and it's really fun to watch them move about. I am not saying this to criticize your setup in any way, as I am sure they're happy in the small enclosure you have now, since they are so small still. It's just that I can't stress enough to people in general that they certainly appreciate more space than the recommended 45x45x60 cm (for adults). They're frogs after all and they should be allowed to use those legs. :D

I've just upgraded my baby pacman frog out of his 30x30x30 exoterra and now it's sitting gathering dust! I would like do it up and make it bioactive and to offer a rescue animal a home but do you know if there is anything that can actually be housed comfortably full term in something this small?

Hi, you mentioned the mourning gecko eggs, when do they start to produce eggs? I've had my three geckos 10mths now and still no signs, just ģot a basking light like I saw on your vids, and it's great to actually see them come out getting warmed up now

Hi! I’m looking to get a baby whites tree frog soon. Does your uvb have a light timer so they can get 12 hours of light and dark?

Hello! I just got a baby whites tree frog today. The tank I bought also came with substrate, moss, plants, and a UV lamp. However the it is UVA and not UVB. Can I use this for her or do I need to get a different lamp?
@Leahweahbeah3 жыл бұрын
Also if anyone can answer.. -do I need to change out the substrate and if so how often? -how often should I mist the tank? -should I get live pants, can it grow in the coconut substrate that I have or do I need actual soil? -Do I need to do any sort of special cleaning or remove her poop from her terrarium? I know I have to change out her water daily/mist and not use tap water. -I fed her small live mealworms today since I got no information from the pet store. I wasn’t sure how long it had been since she ate and I received no care info which is shocking. I have been researching these guys for a few months and still feel like I don’t know enough. Anyhow is there any “best” food specifically for baby whites tree frogs? She’s about the size of the babies in this video.

you should really give these guys a bigger tank... as well as a quarrantine setup with paper towels or similar, to monitor them for the first few months. their humidity also needs to be only about 40-60% as babies, then lower as adults (30-40). moss is also an impaction risk for these frogs as they are clumsy eaters and it can get stuck in their digestive track and hurt them...
