The song "She's Not You" first showed up when Jake and Tiff started dating. He muttered, "Big brown eyes, long blonde hair, just reminds me you're not there" in the episode where Tiff took the auto shop class. He said it while walking into the garage in that episode right after he and Tiff got into a fight by the lockers. I know some of the episodes are a bit out of order but this mix up makes no sense! Either way, I still love this show.

If they did air these episodes out of sequence it's weird. Jake and Tif got together episode 7 and by episode 11 they seem to hardly notice each other and she dates someone to for the gang. Then episode 12 to 14 they are together again kissing and obviously a couple. Then this episode he's chasing and kissing another woman while Tif watches on. They still aren't together in episode 16 or 17 and then by 18 they are together again only to actually break up on screen

Well this is a 90's sitcom. Continuity is not relevant in certain episodes. They did a lot back then. Ex: Boy Meets World Shawn is a player player with all the girls. He gets made to dress up a girl and then dudes hit on him left and right. He vows never to play girls ever gain. NExt episode, he's back to being a big baller. No mention of what happened last episode. So what i am saying. when it comes to 90's tv shows. Storylines go up the ass when it involves another different story line.
