I love how they expressed the man version of a break up to be so easy and upbeat. Why do you assume he cheated? He hurt her, but it wasn't said what on this track. On a different track, they both cheated, as Toni said "an eye for an eye". Toni claimed he did it first, but Babyface never confirmed nor denied it. And if you know Babyface, he really is a class act, gentlemen where if she did wrong first, he won't humiliate her.

This song always makes me emotional and there aren't many songs like it. It's mature, it's grown... and it's ultimately about showing empathy and love to even the people who break your heart, or hearts you break. When it comes to having to end a long time love... it's NEVER okay (mentally or emotionally) as Babyface is singing on track 5, that's why you have to stay prayed up so that God will heal all hearts. And yes, it does hurt but sometimes good is not good and bad is definitely not good. The part that hurts the most is when children is involved or innocent people from that relationship have to suffer due to the selfish acts of others. However, when you can TRUST in God and BELIVE that he'll send you the one that HE HANDPICKED as your soul mate then you'll KNOW when God sends that replacement. This is another reason why we as individuals MUST keep ourselves, lives, family, homes and children protected from all aspects that comes with a relationship (guard your heart).
