Dennis Riray actually Babyface wasn't in his prime. He was in a group and writing and producing call Manchild in the late 70's before the group the Deele

Well, “prime" can vary depending on the source, but it generally falls within the range of 25-54 years old. This show in Japan with Babyface on December 10, 1994, at age 35 y/o (born April 10, 1959) and active since the early 70s, in the classic Deele lineup. From “Manchild” bio, his next group affiliation around 1974 to 1980(disbanded). By early 1980’s he and Deele partner L.A. Reid, formed a successful writing and producing partnership. In 1983 he wrote first hit "Slow Jam" for R&B band Midnight Star, song is on MS 1983 double-platinum album. Babyface remained in the Deele until 1988, when both he and Reid left the group. Babyface in 1989 in a partnership with Reid formed LaFace records; working with, writing and producing many of the most successful performers in R&B contemporary music of the 90s and well into the Y2K’s. ✅ Yes, Babyface in his prime (35 y/o) was well into his iconic career by 1994, with more than 20 year in; this Japan show today is nearing 30 years ago... Babyface still performing, touring as a solo act; doing it holistically , the old school way, singing live with limited backup singers and real band musicians; showcasing beautifully the abundance of song he masterfully wrote and produced for some of the biggest, world famous music entertainment legends of all times. Saw Babyface 2K23 in concert, with a packed house of fan, he’s this rare phenomenal act, and ridiculously talented singer, musician…💐 💜🌟 (Feb 2K24) ijs ☮️

もうあれから30年前橋西武のHisチケット買って、たしか土曜日、折角だから中山競馬場に、寄ってから行こうと、別れた嫁さんと二人で、出かけました、しかしレース後、NKホールまで渋滞、半分ぐらいしか見れなかった、トホホな思い出です。

I love Japanese audiences in concert, so we'll mannered, no shouting, singing along only when asked by the artist. Love to see this show where you've paid to hear the singer sing and not the crowds like these days

Babyface really sounds good live in concert, but I think that was tacky the way the dancer change on stage like that, also I notice that he didn't have an opening act to start the show.

Babyface is all about making real music 🎶 and making real r&b music 🎶 and music 🎶 career and real music 🎶 and his music 🎶 is absolutely amazing and Babyface’s music is great and Babyface’s music is awesome 😎 with Babyface! And Babyface is still sounding great 👍🏾 all over the years! And Babyface was in his thirties!
