@Dena C when I tell you 😭. They are clueless. I mean he did a lot. I forgot about those jamming little “The Boys” songs. A documentary documenting EVERYTHING he has done is much needed.

Sweetheart jasmine please consider really listening to your interviewees several times baby face gave information and then you asked him the questions he gave you information about. Perhaps it was nervousness, you are an emerging interviewer keep growing.

Hey Sis! Congrats on the new show! Hey, Uncle Ken (Babyface)! I always say that you don't deserve just flowers. You deserve a whole bed of roses and a glass of wine (if you like to drink). The work you done put in over the years, Unc is simply remarkable. It's hard to choose a favorite record from you, but eh... I think Imma go w/ _I Love You Bae._ I find myself playing it all the time. My parents love it too. _Soon As I Get Home_ is another one...whew! Nah, the new LP, _Girls Night Out,_ Unc..well... I'm not gon say what I REALLY wanna say simply off of the strength of the love I have for you, but unfortunately, I'm not gon be able to support it. I ain't like _nann_ record. I'm just not feeling the ABC-123 "singing," auto-tune, and just... Never mind. I'll leave it alone. Great interview though. I enjoyed it.

I THOROUGHLY "ENJOYED" that video listening to Baby Face. Do they have an OSCAR for sit down interviews like that? It is VERY HARD for a MAN to keep up the GOOD LOOKS like Baby Face has been able to do. He could be a MODEL for the organization that I joined WAY BACK where men like to LOOK GOOD and just sorry, for the women who "might" have looked "LESS BETTER" than us (makeup covering up stuff doesn't count, at least not with me). The pink and yellow HAIRDO "didn't" even diminish the interview and it STILL "LOOKED" good. Anyway, Baby Face is one of my FAVORITE artists because his music and you have your girl with you and you BOTH are just having FUN and having a GREAT TIME just ENJOYING "LIFE" and being together where even just going to buy a box of CHICKEN is a beautiful thing and a great happening. Whitney Houston had a GREAT voice and really could sing and was a beautiful woman (Clive Davis threw out a little more dirt on her telling about her Same Sex relationship when she was young that Whitney is not here to defend), but she really wasn't one of my TOP favorite singers. Dionne Warwick had many songs that compared to and exceeded what Whitney was doing when she was first getting national recognition. There were SO MANY others, too numerous to mention (Gladys Knight, Nancy Wilson, on and on not to mention the younger singers who came along later Toni Braxton, Anita Baker, Sade, so many). I saw the Preacher's Wife and thought it was a decent movie and just basically bypassed Waiting to Exhale and the Body Guard and all of that other ACTING with Whitney when she was just playing HERSELF, not acting, in my view. On Bobby Brown and New Edition, I was listening to a sort of LONG compilation of their songs and LO and BEHOLD; New Edition was NOTHING but the JACKSON FIVE cleverly disguised and repackaged. Anyway, back to the interview, Baby Face mentioned Clive Davis. What musical TALENTS does Clive Davis have to have been in position to determine and DECIDE "WHICH" songs would be played over the air under the mostly R&B label? Plus, get Whitney Houston to do almost ANYTHING to please the man from what I was seeing in real time as it happened. Regardless, Baby Face or a person like him (a musician, singer, composer, etc.) was/is "WAY MORE QUALIFIED" to make that determination than Clive Davis was as to WHO would get the opportunity to SHINE BRIGHTLY while Clive KNOWING Whitney's SECRET "FLAWS" while getting the People to LOVE Whitney knowing the potential and PROBABILITY for her demise as it manifested itself tragically and PAINFULLY for so many that loved her through her music and performances. I'm sorry, but I BELIEVE Clive was PART of Whitney Houston's problems. Baby Face even mentioned in the video about Clive HAVING TO APPROVE something BEFORE Whitney could even go to Atlanta to DISCUSS making a song with Baby Face, which I just learned that he was party to having worked with Whitney Houston, Bless Her Soul and Phylis Hyman's too. As to Baby Face saying that Toni Braxton, at one point, had begun to THINK that she couldn't make any more GOOD MUSIC and SONGS was "jaw dropping" with her being SO YOUNG. Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. as well as others have shown that one can be 85 and "STILL" be working on their craft "IF" they can MANAGE "NOT" letting success overtake and RUIN THEM, mostly inside as a person. Singing and MAKING MONEY is just a "JOB", and income maker for someone knowing how important it is to KEEP THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE (all things, period). Folks driving trucks can't just say they don't THINK they can drive trucks anymore for WHATEVER REASONS and then stop driving trucks because they don't think they can drive anymore and "DO NOTHING" because they don't have the QUALIFICATIONS to do the jobs that they would really like to have if they weren't driving trucks (like what is a singer going to do if they aren't singing and working on continued development of their CRAFT). Then, ANY artist who has been able to make "MORE THAN" $1.5 million HAS MADE or MADE "MORE" than most teachers with MASTER'S DEGREES for a 30 YEARS career. The DIFFERENCE is that teaching gives people "STRUCTURE" in their lives to ENDURE the "GRIND" of life "AND" "RESPECT", where when one doesn't have structure and respect in their lives and have LOTS OF CASH MONEY (like even with $50 million in the bank, some news reporter will show no respect for that ACHIEVEMENT); it is EASY for the money and LACK OF RESPECT FOR HAVING IT to become "DESTRUCTIVE" in their lives, instead of the positive that money is meant to be for those who KNOW WHAT MONEY IS. The problem (self-destruction) is running RAMPANT with the group of singers/performers that are labeled as RAPPERS today, where they think or it APPEARS that they think that drinking a $1,200 bottle of wine or champagne is cool and makes them look "intelligent" or TOUGH or something and they then go make a song about it and make even MORE MONEY for even LESS respect from those holding RESPECT. Then they show up with that REEFER SMOKING PARCHED "LIPS"; BLURRY BLOODSHOT EYES LOOK in videos and might have on a $300,000 WATCH that the jeweler wouldn't buy it back for $25,000. Anyway, on this new album of Baby Face's; the cover is HARD for me to look at as it is NOT my favorite colors and the modern artistic work on the cover, as well as many other MODERN phenomena that is happening in the country today is hard for me to digest and accept and openly or unopenly embrace as well. I have listened to a couple of the songs and saw the Ella Mai video about Aristocracy. Then, I got stuck on that Game Over song with Queen Naija (had to work to get her name right - Naija). If THAT song is NOT a #1 hit; then no artist should EVER worry about or be concerned about what a CHART says about anything. Baby Face even alluded to that by saying that the musician has to HAVE CONFIDENCE and belief in THEMSELVES even when facing adversity and hearing NO often. It is AMAZING of the POWER in human COMPUTER that is known as one's BRAIN, especially when it gets to having to "GET IT RIGHT" and DONE when one is in "SURVIVAL" mode and understand what GETTING IT WRONG might mean. $3 million in a LIFETIME is not too shabby when one doesn't even have a COLLEGE DEGREE that most college people don't even make $3 million in 30 years, since it takes $100,000 A YEAR for 30 years STRAIGHT to make $3 million dollars. Almost forgot. Also, Baby Face said he gave GREAT ATTENTION and importance to the "LYRICS" of a song; but as just an ordinary listener of music who hardly EVER listen to what they be saying in a song; I think the "MUSIC" is what CAPTURES the ATTENTION of the listener the most. The lyrics are the icing on the cake and the words will be listened to "IF" the song becomes an EVERY DAY hit and the People can't help but hear what is said. Like with those songs with Toni Braxton, once that piano RINGS out, Game OVER as to attracting attention that gives Toni the opportunity to SAY SOMETHING that people will listen to. Many times, it is just the FIRST one or two NOTES that defines a GREAT song that People will KNOW what comes next. If not, then people could just make songs WITHOUT music. That is ALL the RAPPERS do; just get a BEAT and just about SAY ANYTHING to fill in the rest of the song. All they need the listener to do is start SHAKING AND BOUNCING their heads. Start patting their feet is even better. Anyway, it was a GREAT interview. I will admit that watching someone you are interested in hearing what they have to SAY goes a long too. Oh, about that 6th Grade "LOVE"; it happened to me in the 1st Grade and THEN AGAIN in the 6th Grade with the SAME girl. She was too pretty for me at the time.
