00:11:55 - I'm fascinated with coincidence and how often synchronicity occurs when I'm editing CBB videos. The IB doesn't count, it's more unusual when he isn't mentioned (though this time it wasn't Scott!), but this video has synchronicity aplenty, a common theme of the episodes being mythology, in particular, Dionysus (Greek god of wine, winemaking, grapes, fertility, ritual madness, theater, and religious ecstasy!) first mentioned here. Not that I was familiar with the big D. As with many CBB topics (inc Opie & Anthony, Star Wars, Beastie Boys) I know little of much discussed and learn while photo-hunting. I do have good knowledge of last-century's pop culture, a reason I enjoy Adomian referencing classic films and Hollywood's Golden Age luminaries like Welles. Adomian is obviously highly intelligent and certainly likes Dionysus!

Another annoyance seen here: jagged edges on some images clipped from photos. If it's going to be on screen for a while I'll paint over the edges, but if time is tight, for brief shots I let it go

01:36:38 - when Scott visited Australia's national radio Triple J in August 2016, I phoned-in and asked if he'd ever had feedback from any real celebrities impersonated on CBB. He said it happened once, when one who appreciated Adomian's representation of him (!) asked to be on the show. Scott didn't say his name, just that the request was denied because he is a horrible person! This guy seems the most-likely candidate, but with Adomian's characters, it's a tough call!

I'll let you in on a little secret. Somehow I missed one of the later numbers and I had already spent ages editing the Orson bit, which was very funny and I didn't want to lose. Luckily Orson was Adomian's only other multi-appearance character, so I could keep it and justify its inclusion! I'm glad you liked it.

I don't really know, but when I was making this, I went down that rabbit hole known as the boards and the reason seems to be money, but it may just be conjecture (I couldn't find anything from those involved). I doubt there was any animosity , just a professional thing. I guess as they get busy with paid work, those guys don't have the time to do it, or maybe they don't want to give it away free. I didn't even realise till making this that guests were doing CBB for free. I thought there were bucks in podcasting, but it seems not. Maybe now Scotty Auks is (hopefully) getting rich(er) from CBB World, he may entice James to return.

Stats on JA. Last studio CBB Feb 2018, so coming up on 8 years. He did a live ep a few weeks later, at SXSW, but I imagine being a ticketed event, there were dollars for Jimmy, or he may have been at SXSW for something else. BUT, he did return (as did many "friends of the show" who hadn't appeared in years, such as Bobby Moynihan) for the 10th anniversary show (available free, by the way, on Earwolf.com), which is good, as it shows there's no animosity involved (unless they had a punch-up at the anniversary party).

@@tylerlacroix6036 Thanks for that input. I think he does spots on Kimmel, but I haven't watched him since 'The Man Show' so I haven't seen any of what he's doing on it. As far as impressions go, it's hard deciding who is better, PFT or Adomian, but I'm leaning towards JA, just for the number of spot-on impressions, especially Giamatti & Welles. I wasn't aware of several people he impersonates and heard him doing them before the real thing (Howser, Ventura). Ventura was ranting on something the other night and I was blown away by how much he sounds like Adomian's impersonation. PFT is no slouch on Ice-T and John C Reilly and though I haven't heard the real Cake Boss (Cake Boss), I get the impression (no pun intended) that it's more parody than copying his voice. i hope so anyway, for CB's sake (CB)

Up until 2016 he was pretty busy, then a 4-year break, then four appearances, 3 of them just his voice. Last year he played Tiny Tim in "Weird - The Al Yankovic Story".
