I was one of those mothers who stood in line for hours to get into the store to get a Cabbage Patch for my daughter!!! That Christmas when she opened the box and saw it, she sat and cried and cried!! Almost 10 minutes of straight crying! I was afraid that she wasn't happy with it. Turns out she had watched the tv and saw the people fighting for the dolls and was sorry that she had insisted on the Cabbage Doll...she didn't want me hurt!! That place is amazing! I would want to bring them all home!!

Very Precious thanks for sharing. I remember when I was so excited to receive my cabbage patch doll on my birthday back in the 80s. 😊 I am a Huge Gone with the Wind fan and always wanted to visit GA to see the museum there. Do you live near there ? I would love to see a tour there !! ❤️

That was a fun little field trip. I missed my chance at being the creator of those dolls! Several years before cabbage patch dolls ever came out my middle son was around 4...that would have been 1978...He announced one day that he came from a field. He proceeded to tell us how a farmer in a tractor came every day to water him so he could grow. He said that he remembered the day that we came to the field and the farmer showed him to us and he was picked. He remembered leaving the field and riding home in our car. He had quite an imagination! He also had an imaginary monkey friend that lived at our house for a year! Well....see....If I'd have been paying attention and used MY imagination ....shoot. ..missed the money boat that floated right by! lol😂 I'd enjoy other excursions around Georgia. I've been to ...Savanna..sat on the Forrest Gump bench ☺ ate at Paula ' s Mother & Son's restaurant. The azaleas were in bloom. ..beautiful! Thanks for the trip...your new baby is cute.

It wasn't his idea it was someone else and made the Cabbage Patch doll would be formed are called little people she was called she she make these dolls and was hurt feelings or emotions to address them by buy clothes for them and one day he bought old couch potato and sell them without her permission Finchley is sodium and she never saw a penny

I forgot from your other video I was thinking where was your footage from this! Thank you so much for sharing such a long video at the Cabbage Patch baby hospital! How freaking adorable is that place it's beautiful you know it breaks my heart my daughter and I fly to Disney and a couple times we drive. So if it's summer and I take my ex a long vacation we drive when I took her for the first time to Disney she was 7 years old I completely forgot about this place I wish I would have remembered we would have had so much fun stopping there on the way down! I showed this to my daughter we're doing it next time we drive which I don't know when that'll be so far our plans are to go in November we are we have reservations for November to Disney or flying cuz it's only for 6 days and I don't drive down in the winter and then next summer our agenda so far is Disneyland in California since she graduates this year. But next time we go we are stopping there and we are both buying a doll and some assessories that was just so much fun. I love Little Adventures like that by myself or me and my daughter coming up with something fun and interesting to do and going and doing it for the day! Again once again thanks so much for sharing this is so fun I'm going to share it with some of my friends and on Facebook I also was one of those kids and 1983 I was 13 and I still got a Cabbage Patch doll I still have mine and I have my grandma's that she got because she wanted one too and my mom got us both one. And then my daughter has to and she also has three American Girl dolls. I also bought my daughter for her American Girl dolls they used to have doll clothes at the Disney Store for 13 inch dolls and I bought her a whole bunch of cute outfits least have them dressed up in the Disney clothes on her shelves in her room her American Girl dolls because the original stuff but we like the Disney clothes on them better

Oh my, how FUN!!! I love cabbage patch kids and would love to go to Babyland. The babies were soooo cute, and your reactions to them made it even more fun to watch. I fondly remember my 2 CPK’s I had in the 80s but sadly don’t have anymore. I did find some vintage ones on EBay that I’ve picked up from time to time, and I have 3 Exclusive Kids from Babyland. They sure do bring back memories, and they’re just as cute as ever. ❤️
