Got my Andis gtx exo for $169.00, even though I like the trimmer I couldn't see paying $254.00 for a trimmer period, if I didn't get it for the price I got it, probably would of went with the fx3 because of price, coming from a Andis Fan!!!!

Andis just ain’t good enough for the money end of. Infact i don’t think a trimmer good enough for that kind of money. Trimmers shouldn’t be over £150. They ain’t used enough for that kinda money. Babyliss skeleton FX i get the £150 price-tag but nah not feeling the re relases but lets make them a different colour add a touch of gold and watch the barbers fall for it again…

The Andis is just overall not good enough. They waited far too long to release the gtxo nd im literally angry that they charged even more for it despite the last model being a complete failure. Total disaster. Gets loud, not enough torque. Battery malfunctions over time cmon! Then they wanna drop this like its anything at all. They should have reduced the price since they screwed us on the last trimmer AND clipper. They're garbage. The noise makes them unusable. The babyliss is expensive, i still disagree w the trimmers being so much but its a way better value. Leagues better than the gold fx or any likeness of it.

Those fx3 are the best cordless trimmers ive ever used no cap. I had to back mine off a bit cause out the box it was hitting too hard. Its solid for balding and for lining i think the only thing im not a fan of is how large the blade is for the shape of the trimmer. I felt if they want a slimline shape they should make the blade smaller as well.

Fair point. But if they went with a smaller blade off the bat, it wouldn't appeal to the masses. I use my slim line in small areas. But use the fx2 for everything else

I dont disagree. Longer battery life, cheaper. Ended up getting the fx3s for $108 at my local beauty supply just because of hype. I love my gtx exos (got mine for 190). Honestly I ended up giving fx3s to my father. He says they are better but they bite. Im sticking to my gtx exos just out of my preference because they take VERY little effort for me on my hair with no bite and I never set them. I do wish andis would up their game on releases(battery life and noise) but man I love em 😂

The fx3 if you leave it how it is out the box you cant use it on the sensitive areas because its too sharp and will mark people. And i have a super light hand and it was still too sharp. If you back it off very little its perfect for pretty much anything. Its better for balding out also than the exos are. I think if you prefer the exos its more to do with the shape of the trimmer and the blade than actual performance

Bro you say the FX3 but you bought 2/3 pieces of the Andis GTXO and after that you are arguing about the price… I like your videos but why would you buy 3 pieces of 250each? Andis feels like home for you and I think all the trimmers on the market gets the job done… it’s Al about the preference of the barber. I think this market is crazy bro… I like the Andis out of the box never put a screwdriver on a trimmer of clipper otherwise it wil go fucked by the time. You can’t put the blades better back than the factory settings… it is a very precisely job and 0.05mm difference will get you trimmer hitting hard but after a few months it wil go fucked.

I'm stuck on these two right now. I just started cutting hair and from what I understand about these two and my situation, I'm probably gonna have to take time and get both, with me getting the EXO first. I prefer as sharp a line as possible which seems to be FX3, but I also plan to cut my kids hair as well as I get better. EXO I heard is better on all skin types while FX3 is dang sharp and you may have to adjust the blade. I also heard the EXO doesn't debulk as well as other trimmers but I rather use my clippers anyways. I'm gonna go EXO first

@@AllLove0307 I ended up getting the Exo's and Masters cordless. They both hit great and the masters are butter. The Exo's were ok out of the box, but didn't hit crispy like my wired T-outliners, so I decided to zero gap them using the mirror trick... Welp that made them way too sharp and they hit too hard (can cut even with the lightest touch)... I used my rich the barber zero gap tool, and IMHO, they don't hit right like that... i will need to keep playing with them to get them perfect for me. I want them to hit nice, but without cutting me like how my t-outliners were... Right now, its either too sharp or not crispy using the easy methods I know (mirror trick and zero gap tool). When I have more time I will play with them and set them manually... But again, I only cut myself and am not a pro.

no Barber just uses Clippers straight out the box every barber likes to put their touch on their clippers. No one is saying after zero gapped they both hit equally, why? New toys are good but never knock what has always worked. Babyliss listens and executes but parts are never available and blades are too expensive. Andis have been around and aint going nowhere. You can only get but so crisp before breaking skin and with proper adjustment they are equal. Andis have a dock no need for 3 hours but with the price tag they should. Comes down to preference in the end skinny or bulky. Bulk removal is the only clear advantage. For me I like the Black and gold FX dont know why they changed the style although the battery upgrade and indicator light is good.
