...all of UK's Top Of The Pops from the 60s too didn't try live except for a few... maybe you should question that. What do you expect from mostly studio mixing edits done with part live intruments recorded? Nevertheless it'll take a whole lot of rehearsals to consider their peak with probably 2-3 live tv shows, concerts etc running daily...you think they have time to go Live everytime? Get real when you do such comments yeah...
