⚡ 💀 💕 / 💿 Hope there are a couple of Moa solos. She's going to need songs for the 'Legend M' shows to go along with 'GJ!' and a possible special "Hatachi" (20) version of 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!! '. The Sakura Gakuin graduate with Torahime Ichiza is Hana Taguchi. Hana and Rinon Isono were "transfered-in" after Yui and Moa as the 11th and 12th members. She graduated SG at the same time as Yui, Moa and Yunano Notsu.

Its funny i caught the bus today with a real live Japanese guy about 50years old and he had never heard of Baby Metal or Band Maid. Now he may well be living here he didn't really look like a tourist, I think he is too vision impaired to drive but you would think that he would still be having regular contact with Japan and yet he knows nothing of them. I would have thought it would be something of great pride for Japanese people. Perhaps he was on the witness protection program.

"Legend M" really resonated with me. I am so happy Moa gets her show! I also think it's safe to assume the Yokohma shows were originally scheduled as "Legend Y". A lot of folks will find that a sad thought. I find it a happy one. Not that I'm happy that Yui is gone.... of course not, but that they likely originally scheduled them for Yui's Legend Y, which suggests they really did expect her return.Is everyone ready for the ticket lotteries? :)

I think the legend Y theory is true because with concerts, you have to have your schedule set up a year in advance and at the time, Yui was still part of the band when they would have set them up

Thanks for the update! I have been following this a bit myself. I can't wait for the new album!! It can't come soon enough!! I have never seen Babymetal live. There is a slim chance I could go to the first Yokohama concert. I will be in Japan already, but I am scheduled to fly home Tuesday before the show... I am going to try to get a ticket, and if I can, I will extend my trip! I think it would be EPIC to see them in Japan!

Great video Callie ! I loved when you said I cant believe were gonna have a 3rd album. My thought right away was 3rd to many! I was up all night on fox day eve, my news was 10am excatley. We got news, I got so hyped that it be another 6 hours till sleep. So I was up for over 24 hours. But damn it was fun ! Took me back to the days I sleep under the ticket windows waiting to buy Kiss tickets in the 80s. But glad I had off work and enjoy refreshing my phone every minute to every hour once it hit morning in Japan. Safe travel in Japan Callie !

That is great news Babymetal are coming up with a third album. I have been following them since October. Took me a while to get used to of the cuteness juxtaposed with metal but when I don’t overthink this, I really enjoy it. Sumetal has quite the stage presence and the voice for metal. Good to hear clean vocals for a change which is a change from other bands growing. Moa definitely has the essence of metal especially at APMA award show playing guitar. Hope at least Yui collaborates with Babymetal in the future. Did Sumetal do that evil scream from Babymetal Death? That was quite the evil sounding scream

A bit late, and know you are in Japan now (enjoy!), but as for the size thing: Port Messe Nagoya is already a tad bigger than Hiroshima Green Arena (10k+ vs. 8k~). You'd think Su would get the biggest, right? Yokohama Arena is 17k, so by far the biggest. But, the thing is these are the only similarly sized arenas in these cities. Either they go to a sub 5k for Yui or go big, thank god they did the former, or the tickets would have been soooo much harder to get.

I just booked flight to Tokyo and Hotel at Tokyo, for seeing them live at Yokohama Arena, what i expect is Yui will be there just like you said it will be Legend Y, but yeah that what i expected.......and hoping didn't run out of their ticket show haha, and i've ordered 2019 the one member T-shirt which unfortunately it will shipped in the end of April-Mid of May, which is took looooong enough to be delivered to my country (Indonesia). oh i can't wait to see them live in the first time of my life! It would be amazing to hear something a la Floor and Marco of Nightwish. And I'll be scouring the songwriting credits on the new album looking to see if Su is in there. Thanks for making your video Callie. I thought about making a response video to the latest news but decided that things are still too much 'in the air' with respect to BabyMetal. I have to disagree about anything to do with Yui. Whether it is a tribute show, song or even a return to BabyMetal. Although I would love to be incorrect, she has gone and BabyMetal, AMUSE, and Koba, will not reference her in any shape or form. The photo of Moa and Su is excellent as you say and I believe, illustrates that it will be the two of them permanently for the line up. They may have some backing dancers again. My cynical side believes whatever is cheapest for touring purposes and keeps selling CD's, DVD's and merchandise will be the way forward. Saya Hirari was a good stand in and very popular with most fans when she performed but it was not to be, which is such a shame in my view. I don't believe if anyone knew if she was employed as a dancer only and was never even considered as a Yui replacement? My sincere hope is that the audio will be better on the new CD. I may of mentioned before, I took Metal Resistance back to the retailer as I thought I had a 'duff' copy. I have ended up, I think Rick Wagner said he did this first, so thanks to him to use the live recordings to make a playlist as opposed to the CD. Have an excellent trip to Japan. Will you and Tom be making a vlog of your travels? You will be able to get plenty of new merch' Callie :-) X

I prefer the live performances to the official videos because of the amazing energy those girls are able to sustain throughout their shows. Such creative dance routines. Favourites? Hard to pick favourites, but I'd say Babymetal Death, Gimme Chocolate, line!, Doki Doki Morning, Rondo of Nightmare, Karate, Awadama Fever, Distortion and Syncopation are the ones I listen to most.

How on Earth are they supposed to have a legend y without Yui? Without her it's not really Babymetal anymore. I will check out the third album, but I'm not as excited about it knowing she's probably not going to be on it. Just as an odd aside I had triple bypass surgery on April 1st 2016. @@erikdevries2215 I liked the flow the 3 girls had in terms of the delivery of the lyrics and their choreography. Somehow I feel with just 2 girls everything about their performance suffers. Doesn't have to be Yui, plenty of talented girls can take her place. I just can't think of Babymetal as a duo. Their upcoming US tour will be the ultimate test.

(keyed in babymetal live 2018 the other day to see what was up.) and also there definitely seemed to be this vibe between the two of them. so you do have a point. up to a point anyway.
