5:59 I just came back from seeing Babymetal at an open air festival yesterday, lots of rain. We have a saying here: all the rain that falls now, doesn't fall later. And during the Babymetal set it was mostly no rain, so that was good. 🙂

Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era.🦊🤘🌅 I wish everything gets better in your daily life and remember what the lyrics said, "tomorrow will come again". Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson (short hair on the right) and Scott LePage (long hair on the left), and it's quite clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip. Their songs are mainly instrumental but i think they got some collabs with famous singers but don't quote that on me, what is for sure they got mad skills playing instruments. Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again a couple of days ago at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. Next suggestion: - Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997, Gans Tomas got that clip safe to react. Recently we were remembering YuiMetal's birthday, next July 4th is coming MoaMetal's special b'day so get ready for something special, here's some suggestions: - Love Machine live at Legend 1999 (2013). - Onedari Daisakusen live at Budokan 2021. - GJ! live at Budokan 2021. - MoaBanger live at Legend M 2019 (only after watching Headbanger!! original version). From Dusk Till Dawn is my favourite song. It hits me very emotionally, but I still can not understand exactly why. I sometimes get melancholy, but with a bit of hopefulness. It is as if I am transported to the time and place of a quiet walk through a rainy city during the time of dusk till dawn. The vocals, sound, music, and ethereal feeling are epic. 🤘🦊🤘

@@Dragonstar-Metal I find it hit hits me on an emotional level as well, part of that is the exceptional composition musically but I think it's something in the quality of Su's voice, If I listen to Akatsuki from Legend 1997 with just the piano and light strings her voice destroys me every time and the tears just flow, Monochrome and Metal Kingdom and other's have the same effect but then the next song she can have me rocking out, dancing or laughing and very few singers can do that to me, I saw an interview with her only a few day's ago when she said Megitsune was still a work in progress for her, just show's that even while at the very top of her power's she is still trying to improve her vocal technic she is on a par with the likes of the great Ella Fitzgerald.

There could be many different interpretations of this song, but most people agree it's about depression and the struggle to live it through. Personally, I think there are hints at the hikikomori phenomenon, the fact that the protagonist watches life through screens, instead of going out and living it, the image of being closed and fearful of the outside world. But maybe it's just me, and the song is just about weather 😅🤷🏻‍♂️ OTFGK 🤘🏻🦊⚡

A fine reaction to one of my favourite Babymetal songs! you touched on all the important points. Babymetal did a number of songs about pushing through and keep on fighting even if times are tough, but none is as uplifting as this one. I am almost 59yo, and looking at the state of the world, there is no reason to be optimistic; everything seems to turn from bad to worse. But when Su tells me that the new day will come and it is going to be all right, I can't help believing her. Together with the stellar guitar work, this song helps me to keep going regardless. There only is one other work of art that can do this to me: King Theoden's speach in Lord Of The Rings. Sometimes the two blend in my mind and I start wondering if maybe Tolkien did write the lyrics to a Babymetal song after all. I love the roars of delight coming from the crowd as they realise that Tim and Scott will join Babymetal on stage for the first time ever to perform Brand New Day live.

Brand New Day is one of their softer Songs, but it is great. So it was understandable why in their second European Tour it suddenly jumper into theirvsetlit again and replaced Songs like Mirror Mirror. And another important news Polyphia and Babymetal are working on a new Collaboration. And in this Mix Su demonstrates what a voice like hers is worth. It is not only singing but complete control of her vocal pathways , so that she can really project her voice.

Yes Tim and Scott's instrumentals are a driving force here but for me it is Suzuka's stunning vocal performance and Moa and Momo's beautiful backing vocals that seal it. Suzuka once again proves that (in my opinion) she is the most versatile and talented female singer today. She just loves to sing and it shows.
