Hey FaulPlay, this was an awesome reaction. You are right, Babymetal is fire. They are the most diverse and important metal band of the last 10 years. Despite hollow critics, they have forged ahead and have recently celebrated their first 10 years, while their lead singer is still just 24(ish). I love seeing gaijin (or farang, in pasa Thai) discover this band. I hope you enjoy your inevitable descent down the Fox Hole. And, I am super impressed that an American has found his way to Babymetal through Thailand's most celebrated rap artist (F****** Hero). Awesome. I can't promise you rap in every song by Babymetal. However, I can promise you that every song is different and that almost every song is supported by driving metal music, combined with clean vocals and superbly choreographed interpretive dance routines that allow you some insight into what the song is about, even though you don't understand the lyrics. I can promise you amazing stage shows and culturally significant official music videos. I can also promise you some dark moments, some weird moments, and many WTF moments. Simply watch and enjoy.

BxMxC almost certainly BABYMETAL Cypher, but there is still some doubt - in a recent interview when she was asked how she was feeling Moametal said "Hungry, I need fried chickens" - so it could be Bring Moa Chicken. I suspect you've already been told they're Japanese LOL - they featured F Hero in 'PA PA YA', as you saw, which is probably where the confusion arose. Try 'Megitsune' live at Budokan Black Night next. That has a more Japanese feel to it.

They have a song called rondo of nightmare and it's live and in the beginning its has solos from all of the band members then the girls come in after and it's pretty cool. The girls names are su metal, moa metal and yui metal. They are Japanese and have been doing this since they were like 10

Some say BabyMetal isn't a real band because they don't play instruments. I have few names. Rob Halford, David Lee Roth, Robert Plant, David Coverdale. Maybe, there is video of them playing an instrument but I've never seen them play. BabyMetal has a world class band, the Kamis. This enables the girls to focus on their choreo. From 30 minutes to nearly 2 hours of practically nonstop dancing. These delicate little girls were named the 10th greatest METAL band of all time in 2020. They've had the backing of the biggest names in metal since they first started out.

From recent interviews with Su and Moa, it's clear that they wanted even their existing fans to say "Nanja korya!", or "What the hell is this!" when they listened to the new album for the first time. That plan seems to have been a success. : ) They repeat "Tekina Metaru Saifa" (Like a Metal Cypher) several times in the song, so "BABYMETAL Cypher" or "BABYMETAL Metal Cypher" are the most likely explanations for the song title.

Great & thanks from BM's homeland, Japan 有難う💛。When I heard the studio version of BxMxC, I was skeptical that this challenging song would be played live on stage. But they did it flawlessly with clear vocal and sharp choreo. I actually witnessed it performed on Day-7 & 8 (March 15 & 16) in 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN concerts this year. I, a poor skeptic who underestimated their ability, had to beg our Metal Queen & Princess for their forgiveness. The lyrics implies multiple things. Su is singing about breaking the status-quo of music and BABYMETAL itself.
