This was the world premiere live performance of this song. I was in the crowd at PIA Arena and it went so hard. The light show that accompanied it was also incredible. Well said about how Babymetal is an evolution of metal. Shame the elitists are too stuck in their ways.

Nice reaction. You are right Babymetal isn't old metal. They created something new. And it's called Kawaii Metal. Their ability to add in a cultural aspect from around the world into their music very cool too. You never know what you're going to get when listening to Babymetal and that is another aspect of their music. How they combine it all and make it work can only be described as Babymetal magic.

Nice one, thanks! "MAYA" is one of my favorites from The Other One album. That riff is so massive that appeals directly to the basic metalhead in me. The word "Maya" refers to the concept of "illusion" or the deceptive nature of reality in Hinduism and Buddhism. It represents the way the material world is perceived as real, but is ultimately an illusion that obscures the true and eternal nature of existence. Maya binds individuals to the cycle of birth, death and rebirth (samsara) by creating attachments and distractions, preventing them from attaining ultimate truth or spiritual liberation (moksha or nirvana). 🤘🦊

Nice one! Babymetal was amazing back in the day, when they were kids. And now, they are even better! To me, this song is talking directly about a Babymetal concert (yes yes, my dumb interpretation 😂): They (Babymetal) are the “Magic Illusion, bewitching me” (at their shows). And us, the audience, always calls out their name! But when I “awake” (e.g., show’s over), they’re “no longer there” 😢. 😂😂🤘🦊

I watched now all your Babymetal reactions and I love everyone, especially because you are one of the few reactors that take the attention to the music and musicans, the produktion, the whole entertainment and don't ask at first: "where are the lyrics and engl. subtitels and translations ( I "hate" that). In my oppinion the feelings, the emotions the fascination are the real enjoyment to babymetal. Espacially because the lyrics often mystcal and symbolic and have to been construed. Be sure I will follow you at your journey of Babymetal. (I'm not a nativ speaker so please forgive me when their are a few grammatical errors. I hope I could explain my request and have been able to give you one more motivation to delight me/us with a lot more reactions to Babymetal) By the way have you ever reacted to older Babymetal songs or are you interested in ? 🦊🦊🦊 for the fox god 🦊🦊🦊

Honestly if you keep going "official" you DO miss out on intros, crowd interaction (and it can be track over concert) etc. I do like this track although it took a while (some great parts in it) - there's a lot of English in here (not much of a fan - and she sounds somewhat American - and the cringe dialogue in the middle is not for me)) Great track overall anyway and good reaction!

The upshot is that the world is not what it seems. This was the world premiere of the song. They also performed 'Mirror, Mirror', 'Time Wave', 'Believing' and 'Metalizm' for the first time that night.
