Great reaction. Rather than being about a person, Maya represents illusion in Hinduism, Buddhism and probably other eastern philosophies. I completely agree about Su-metal's vocals, she is incredibly gifted, versatile and hugely talented and mere words can't really describe the qualities of her voice. Put her behind a piano you say? Sounds like you need to see 'No Rain, No Rainbow' from the Budokan 2021 concert (although the Legend S performance is probably the ultimate one for that song).

Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 Thanks for the shout-out. I totally got the same Blade OST vibes with the intro when the music is playing in the underground club right before he unleashed the showdown, it's awesome. Last weekend they held two big live shows called Legend MM at Yokohama celebrating MomoMetal's 21 birthday, we're all proud of her singing a unique version of Headbanger!! we called MomoBanger as well Meta Taro (Momo Taro), another fun song they don't play since a very long time ago. Happy belated birthday to MomoMetal our new scream/growl and dance.🦊🤘🍑 This song belongs to latest album The Other One but it wasn't part of the 5 singles prior to the album released, although it becomes one of fans favorite from this album real fast. The nasty riffs reminds to "Ice Nine Kills - Rainy Day". Maya in Hindu myth is the representation of illusion (which is the theme in this song), so that's the reference. Here's some official info: MAYA (ILLUSION) _Reality is an illusion. The truth may be a deception._ _It is a feeling as if you wandered in between the Real World and the Virtual World. It may be magic, or it may be an illusion._ The Western Kami Band playing this live at PIA Arena MM (April 1st last year) gives some aggressive flavor that i really like and with MomoMetal now officially as a new member, just so you know this was performed during Black Night (that's why they're wearing the old battle dress from Metal Galaxy era and she ain't got a mic), at the end of this night she was announced as MomoMetal, the night after this (Clear Night) they're wearing the new costume you can see at Mirror Mirror, METALIZM official MV and more recently Divine Attack - Shingeki live version. This was just a great reaction from you guys. One of my favs really. It was obvious from where the band first dropped that you were into it and that makes such a difference in a reaction. This song is fire and yeah those little "stabs" get me every time too. Such a small musical detail but I think it's a detail that shows clearly how much thought is put into every song they do. And Su's voice. The mystery, the magic. She's an incredible singer but there is something else so unique to her tone. I've never heard its like before and every song I just sit back and marvel at its beauty. Nice going.

When Kobametal came up with the idea for Babymetal, he knew he would need a powerful vocalist who wouldn't be overwhelmed by the noise of a metal band, and when he saw Suzuka as a 10 year old singing with her first idol group Karen Girls, he was impressed by her powerful voice and unique stage presence, and thought that she would be perfect to be the lead vocalist for his j-pop metal project.

Yes, Babymetals History is the Heavy Metal Club of Sakura Gakuin. This Club had no Budget since it was not an Idea by Amuse. But Kobametal put SuMetal under Contract and together with Yui and Moa he send them work for him (open Malls and Department stores) to earn money for their first smaller Concerts.
