40 here, and to be honest, it’s refreshing to hear the sounds of metal combined with the positivity these girls. I was among those that wasn’t interested in listening just from looking at them……But once you hear Su’s voice, total game changer. Then, once you really look into what they’re about, it’s actually pretty awesome. These girls are living their best life out there trying to spread positive vibes in a usually hostile environment. Kudos……Just plain kudos…. And tons of it.🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

So I found myself watching Tank The Tech's tour vlogs with Electric Callboy and then went to this. And a thought came to mind. You get Babymetal and Electric Callboy on a tour together and there is not enough energy in this world to match that party! And I'll be there dancing my happy butt off for it the whole time! The term combines "メ" (me), a prefix indicating femininity, and "狐" (kitsune), which means "fox." In Japanese folklore, 狐 are mythical foxes that possess intelligence, magical abilities, and the power to shapeshift into human form. Female foxes, or メギツネ, are often depicted as particularly cunning and mysterious. In the context of this song however, メギツネ symbolizes a woman who is multifaceted and strong, embodying the cunning and mystical attributes associated with foxes in Japanese culture. I would say the meaning encapsulates both perspectives and the メギツネ is a woman who uses her cunning to captivate a man or catch a lover. That's why she issues her warning (舐めたらいかんぜよ) mid-song that she is not to be underestimated. It's one of my favorite songs. I have spent a lot of time listening to it and talking to native Japanese speakers to understand it's meaning.

It's so amazing to see how much they've matured and grown into their own as performers. Early on, everything they did was very rehearsed and scripted, even the audience interactions - understandably, they were young kids and often speaking a language foreign to them. But now even though the tight choreography is the same, there's so much personality in everything they do. They're clearly in their element firing up whole arenas. What a band!

Even though they've been doing it for years, their dance synchronization is amazing. I think it's especially difficult to synchronize the fox sign at the beginning. They make minute adjustments to synchronize and smoothly align themselves in the set position without any instability, just like industrial robots.
