After all these years, Su and Moa have a bond so tight that even after losing Yui, they forge ahead with total respect for each other. If you have ever been in a band, that is so rare.

I remember the discussion at the time on Reddit, the conclusion for some was: Riho hadn't learned to pace herself when excited. Something Babymetal had mentioned they had learned before 2016.

Morning Musume as a group is constantly drenched in sweat by the end of their concerts so I wouldn't be surprised if it was just her Morning Musume mentality coming back on top of her nerves from it being her first concert performance in a few years.

Suddenly a comment in Spanish appears!

Great, great video, you framed a lot of details that happened during this show, unfortunately plagued by terrible audio, many issues with the mix, the mics and backtracks, still I love it too, as they managed to deliver a great and funny performance and for the two "firsts" you pointed out. I've seen these clips so many times, still I missed SU slapping MOA's butt 😅. I'd like to add just a couple of things that happened during KARATE: MOA's mic being too low at the beginning, with her screaming so loud that she turned red and SU smiling at her, then SU cracking a bit after jumping too much, but she recovered in a second, just in time for her signature double "hashire!". Outstanding. 🤘🏻🦊⚡

Watching it on the stream it was clear that Riho was gassed. She did not have that problem on the American and European tours that followed. I still believe that they should have given Riho a mic and full membership in the triad.
@martinmetal74812 жыл бұрын
It would of changed there sound as you will know Original trio where picked for compatible voices . Riho also only stayed with BabyMetal less than a year and signed to another agency for a solo career do not think she intended to stay from begaining. She went away and studied dancing in US dont think it was to be a backing dancer or part of group . Think she had ambitions of having a Solo career which she has now and good luck to her she put the work in for that and deserves it .
@specialk52572 жыл бұрын
@@martinmetal7481, Yui and Moa were not chosen because of their compatible voices. Straight from Kobayashi Kei, "Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi were added to complement Nakamoto's "unique stage presence" with their smaller statures, dancing around her "like angels." Their official job description is "scream and dance," not sing and dance. In fact, unfortunately, Moa is rarely called upon to sing. Riho can sing and sing very well. She is every bit Moa's equal in that regard and of the three Avengers, she is easily the the best dancer. Only Saya Hirai was her better in dance only. Can Yui even sing? As of today, (March 8, 2022) Yui has not been seen in 1,605 days. She was bounced out of Babymetal for a reason and placed in the equivalent of a witness protection program. And it is not because she sings so well.
@martinmetal74812 жыл бұрын
@@specialk5257 did i say Riho could not sing NO ! i said her vocals where not compatible with Su's . Never once did i say otherwise . What i did say was Riho probably wanted to be a solo success that is probably why she studied dancing in the US and deserved to have that success as she worked for it . So get off your high horse and read what i said . Also Yui and Moa where chosen for singing voices as well. Also do you know what was wrong with Yui ? No neither do I , but it could be something really serious and thats why it's been kept quite.
@specialk52572 жыл бұрын
@@martinmetal7481 Have an adult that is not feeble-minded read and explain this to you. Today is March 8, 2022 - 4 years, 4 months, 21 days (1,605 days) since Yui Mizuno's last public appearance. What a peculiar way to begin a solo career... There is much more going on here. Excuses like "Health concerns," ""Yuimetal remains a member of the band," "YUIMETAL came to a decision that she... will no longer be a part of BABYMETAL,” and "I will also strive hard to see you again someday as Mizuno Yui." I believe that Yui's "statement" was clearly written by AMUSE/Koba (management). Also, I believe 2018 may have been AMUSE/Koba buying time for Yui to return, after the European leg of the tour was completed the decision to move forward without Yui was made. Amuse/Kobe did appear to address the fan's desires by returning to the triad formation after the disapproval of the "Dark Night Carnival" mess (which one is Moa?) and positive response when Saya Hirai joined Suzuka and Moa (three is best) on stage for the "Good Things" festival shows. - Why would AMUSE/Koba mess with the most successful international Japanese music act currently going? The answer is that they would never screw with Babymetal, not unless it was absolutely necessary. Certainly not to facilitate Yui's dream of a solo career. That is nonsense and NOT why Yui Mizuno is no longer with Babymetal. - I honestly believe that 2018 tours and ambiguous press releases were attempts to buy time for Yui to get back into fighting trim (see below) or perhaps figure out how to go forward without Yui. - So what is up with Yui? Perhaps she grew out of her position alongside Moa. Yui was visibly larger and taller than Suzuka throwing off the symmetry of the triad. Possibly a serious illness, she was noticeably heavier during her final shows leading to speculation that she may be on Prednisone, an anti-inflammatory due to a nagging injury. Side effects include, "swelling, rapid weight gain, feeling short of breath." Another theory is that she may have become pregnant (relax, she was 18 at the time of her final show). Unsubstantiated and frankly baseless, sordid, conjecture theorizes that Key Kobayashi (Kobametal) or guitarist Mikio Fujioka (who fell from an observation deck on December 30, 2017, passing away on January 5, 2018) may have been the father. This seems like the least likely of scenarios Yet, it cannot be ruled out. . - December 3, 2018, a post was made... A teacher of one of Yui's friends expressed his sadness that Yui was quitting Babymetal. "Actually, she didn't quit. My friend in high school is Yui's friend for a long time. The record label (AMUSE) told Yui she was too (gestures "fat" with arms out) and gave her some months to change it. After some time she decided to leave. She's sad." It goes on to say, "AMUSE/Koba was the one who told her she couldn't be in the band anymore if she didn't get skinny again and she couldn't lose the weight fast enough." - With Babymetal returning to the triad with Saya Hirai, for the final four shows of 2018. Riho Sayashi and Kano Fujihira and Momoko Okazaki have been the "Three Brave Avengers" in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Given the recent unpredictable nature of Babymetal, a return from Yui cannot be counted out. Babymetal fans were still holding hoping against hope that Yui would be somehow miraculously reappear during the 10 BABYMETAL YEARS shows at Budokan. Obviously, that did not happen. Whatever the case, I wish Yui nothing but good wishes, good health, and a happy future. - You do not worthy of the “Metal” moniker. You filthy, stupid, old man.

@@specialk5257 That was the most astonishing memorized summary of snippets of how fucked up this and any fandom can be. I see you've been surfing and reading through Reddit. Do us all a favor and before wasting so much time on gathering copy&paste statements and effort on trying to convince others to suck on unfounded speculation, try remembering exactly that: that literally everything you took so long to write down on a YT comment section is nothing but speculation. As you clarify yourself with "I believe", "theory", etc. So much rambling and useless paragraphs to compensate for the fact that you keep ignoring the main point the other guy was actually talking about: that Riho, along with the other two avengers clearly didn't intend to be a part of Babymetal and aimed for their own thing. You can essay all the Reddit and Twitter threads you want, but no one except Yui herself is fully aware of what happened or what she'll do with her life. Yet the mere mentioning of a backup dancer seemed to be reason enough to bring Yui's and Babymetal's history in the most distorted way possible, closing the "debate" with a sentence of uncalled insults. Ask yourself again who actually isn't ready for an "adult conversation". And fyi, Riho disappeared for around 3 years before her first public appearance with BM. I guess she was also "trying to get skinnier" or "fit her symmetrical position" in whatever her project is, BM could never settle for otherwise- oh, wait. That's right. Momoko is taller than Moa and Su. I guess that's why she was "kicked out of Babymetal just like Yui was". Before stating your brainwashed opinions as an absolute truth, make sure to get your facts straight and stop relying on fan forums.
