Great reaction as always, thanks. This is an extremely beautiful version of an already beautiful song. It's interesting because we can see how Su-metal works her technique here. I believe I understand what you mean. I've heard many vocalists I really like, of very diverse styles, from classical trained opera singers to extreme metal harsh vocalists. And none of them, none at all make me feel music like Su-metal does. I even commented this with other fans and I came to the conclusion that her voice has something special, something that gets you. This came out before Momo was official ( still Su and Moa), people speculated about the chorus of 3 as either the avengers backing up or precursor that they picked someone. Each version gives different feel. Fuwafuwa (one take), sadness/hopeful (Hiroshima blast- music vid) or empowerment (live).

Nice reaction as always. I've heard that this song is referencing Hiroshima, Su's home city, but that may be fan theory rather than official someone may be able to confirm/deny this. The official animated MV is certainly suggestive of the atomic bomb attack and is worth checking as it captures the darkness of the first part of the song. This piano version is, ironically perhaps, a lot of reactors first step into the foxhole so when they watch the PIA Arena version they're quite shocked. There's also 1st Take pared back version of The One, which features Momo as well as Su & Moa, but maybe check a live first. As you said it's unusual to see them standing still particularly Moa. I heard that immediately after this she ran a half marathon to release the stored up energy /jk

No one really knows exactly what the sing means. To me, the lyrics don't really match a direct link to Hiroshima but I can't prove it's not about that.

@@jeffschreifels8651 Indeed, it may be one of those cases where the original song wasn't intentionally about something but was an interpretation when they made the video. Then again it may just be people overthinking it or reading more in than is there. Whatever the truth it's a wonderful track in all its versions.

If it does have anything to do with the Hiroshima attack, it is likely the response over time and about how Hiroshima today is a thriving, beautiful city. And not a nuclear wasteland..

This song is about facing a “disaster” in life [ _The Monochrome Fireworks_ ] and finding the will and courage to move forward [ _We WILL illuminate the night sky in rainbow colors!_ ]. No matter how long the night, the morning will come, so just smile! The imagery in the MV isn’t necessarily direct call to Hiroshima, but a depiction of a landscape of devastation. Even Su said this song is always hopeful to her. But we all interpret things differently, so to each is their own!

They don't really do the sweating thing anymore - they've slowed down a fair bit and changed some choreography aspects - I actually miss that but I can understand they'd probably not enjoy it themselves - even if it looks cool to see sweat and disordered hair :). This really does show off that voice and I love it (for me about the same as Akatsuki unfinished (also solo) which I love for some reason - probably the sweat and tangled bangs and somewhat knackered look 😂). Great reaction to what for me is one of their best songs. Oh - it's also my fav costume of theirs I think - I find all the reflective stuff maybe a little - plasticy & flippant? so I'm kinda borderline on it - although if it was toned down just a tad for me it'd look great.

いつもありがとう！お疲れ様です😚 At first, when the two appeared on stage, the microphone picked up the sound of their footsteps. But there was no sound of SU-METAL's breath, just her singing voice. I think it was the precision of her singing voice control. At the time of this First Take, it was the last recording (as a concept) of BABYMETAL, which has been going on since 2010. 3 people dressed in white symbolize YUI in the middle, SU on the right, and MOA on the left. It was the last recording of BM that the 3 of us have fought together (actually YUI was not there, It is a symbol.) All of this is my own interpretation!😚 🔥🤘🦊 From🇯🇵
