What a bliss! The flying drones with cameras that enabled the beautiful aerial cinematograph were manipulated by experts including Ms. Shiraishi. She is a member of team Japan for World Drone Racing Championship. As you may know Western (American) Kami Band played in the girls' back. They have supported BABYMETAL's 2023 world tour and this year as well. Japanese fans always appreciate the devoted support like knights by Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint (Ryan replaced in USA). Glad y'all enjoyed! Yeah Babymetal is designed to be a full experience, almost like a movie at these big event shows with wild productions. A lot of the songs are built with catch ly choruses and crowd chants to sing, along with parts where the crowd copies the choreo. Point being, you feel like you performed with them, and not just that you "watched a show" Ite pretty powerful! Im 47, my wife and I saw them twice in Texas last year and we were very close to the stage one show and their actual stage presence is crazy! Easily unmatched by any group I've seen live in my life. Excellent reaction folks. Good points, good observations and great that you finally got to see the ladies in their "own" element. I see you've gotten a lot of comments already so I'm sure there'll be plenty of recommendations. So on that note a couple of thoughts. Babymetal have been around since 2010. With one personnel change and yeah they were literally kids. A lot but certainly not all of their older stuff does have more poppy vocals. But as they've matured their material has grown with them and the last couple of years have seen some really innovative "metal". BM have never been afraid to take chances and try new things. I look forward to following your Babymetal journey down the Foxhole. Great work!

Great song live 👍 i have experienced Monochrome live 3 times . Once at Wembley Arena and twice The Roundhouse back to back shows in London . A emotional experience but a positive one . No 2 songs the same and different courography for each song thats around 70 songs . The stage you see them on go's up and down and there are 2 more round stages at either side and the one with the Kami band on a 3 huge screens behind them ( there are clips of another show as well to get it passed you tube copyright/ blocks ) BabyMetal Japan shows are Legendary and fans travel from all over the world ( if they can get a ticket ) to experience them . Welcome back to the Foxhole and now with the new metalverse era🦊🤘🌐 Thanks for coming back with this suggestion after your RATATATA reaction which btw they just released the live version which is awesome. Monochrome is another beautiful track from latest album, it was the 2nd single released in November 2022 and there's an official lyrics video really cool if you wanna enjoy the studio album version, later in 2023 right before this concert you just saw they released the Piano Version at The First Take surprising everyone with another stunning and beautiful one off stripped down version. The lyrics got some Norse mythology reference and when the lyrics vid came out there were many theories around, later they said they were surprised about it and saying they just wanna give a hopeful song. Here's some official info: _"One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is MONOCHROME and this 2nd pre-release digital single “Monochrome” centers around this theme. From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors."_ This was live at BabyMetal Begins - PIA Arena MM Clear Night, Yokohama on April 2, MomoMetal first concert as an official member (she's the new official member after YuiMetal left the group in 2018), you can notice SuMetal speaking to them in the middle section and giving that recognition. They got this magical moment when performing live in every setlist they did throughout the recent World Tour 2023/2024 and they're keep rocking with this song everywhere they go. The composer behind this song is the same one behind Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Kagerou, the arrangement of Megitsune and also behind Believing from this same latest album, you should really not miss those songs. Next suggestion with more from this album: - MAYA live at PIA Arena MM 2023 official MV. - Divine Attack live at PIA Arena MM 2023 official MV. Like SuMetal said at the end: "Just smile".🙂 Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🌈

Awesome guys, great reaction! Babymetal's stylistic range is pretty insane, and you will find many genre and cultural influences across their discography. Further more, their style has also progressed over the 14 years they've been active. You'll see a much heavier juxtaposition of ultra brutal music with their child-like adorabless when they were kids to a more mature, but cute sassiness of today as adults in their mid-20s (Babymetal started when they were 12/11). _Suggestions:_ Epic Battle Anthem: *Road of Resistance (Pia Arena MM)* - Same show as Monochrome. Egyption EDM Metal?: *Metalizm (Pia Arena MM)* - Same show as Monochrome. Fun and Groovy: *Metali (Official Live),* ft. Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine doing his thing on guitar solos. Heavy and Adorable: *Catch Me If You Can (Budokan 2014)* - Slipknot...but cute. For the WTF factor: *iine! (Official MV)* - Their 2nd song ever from ~2011. Looking back, this song verymuch reminds me of Electric Callboy, but different. FOR THE FOX GOD: *BABYMETAL DEATH (Legend 1997)* - This is how a metal queen closes her sweet 16th (Dec 2013 show). Look forward to more Babymetal! 🤘🦊

Welcome back, good to see you with BABYMETAL again so soon.🦊 Great reaction. 'Monochrome' is a beautiful song and makes for a very welcome slowing of pace in one of their concerts - it gives everybody a chance to catch their breath for a moment ... and what a moment.🥰 Su-metal had audiences in nearly 100 concerts and 25 countries all lighting up "this dark, dark world" and illuminating the world in rainbow colours🌈 with their phones last year. That was almost prophetic when you said that perhaps BABYMETAL could surprise you every time ... the only really predictable things about BABYMETAL are that whatever song will be a top quality song, the vocals and instrumentation will be top notch, the performance and choreo will be spot on, the energy will be off the chart, the audience will be right in the moment with them - and you will be surprised at how different the song is to the one before and the one before that. Expect the unexpected - and they will still surprise you. They have about 70 songs, they cover virtually every metal genre but they will also mix and blend so many more musical styles and genres with the metal, usually when you least expect it. Some songs are good hard metal, some songs lean towards their pop roots and they do everything in between. Some songs are incredibly fast, some may be slow ballads - you won't know until they start the song - and even then they will sometimes switch it up and surprise you again. You have great suggestions for more songs - I think the song that best represents who and what they are (not that any one song can do that, but this is possibly the closest to managing) is 'Megitsune' ... and watch the live at PIA MM Arena, Clear Night (then the official video from 2013 as well if you want, that's a good MV), but BABYMETAL are best seen and heard playing live ... and you will really get to see the crowd in action in this one too.

Nice reaction, thanks and welcome back! "Monochrome" is definitely in their "softer" side but those guitars sound incredibly low tuned and I love it. Yes, their range is really wide. Actually, I usually refer to this unique feature as "musical diversity" since they like to blend any music genre with metal. And yes, they are way better live for many reasons but you have seen here some: Su-metal's vocals, the choreo (different for each song and trying to explain the lyrics), the Kami Band playing live, all these big stage productions, etc. They also master in crowd interaction. So, always expect the unexpected and enjoy your BABYMETAL journey. 😁 🤘🦊

For BabyMetal I would call this a ballad and they do have a really cool Piano version of the song on YT. There are way heavier songs in their newer catalog. Mirror Mirror or Maya come to mind. I would also suggest if you want a truer representation of them live is to look for Fan made live videos from their concerts. In my experience their big Japanese productions are a little overproduced for my taste. While the true experience the band is much heavier sounding in the mix.

By the way, the long ambient intro is not on the studio version or official lyric music video. They only do it, as far as I know, at their longer concerts in Japan. Either to give the girls, maybe even the band, especially the drummer, a quick break since they go hard on every song and they will do many songs. Or for stage and outfit changes. But during shorter sets like at metal festivals, they usually go from one song to the next pretty fast.🤘🦊🤘

Being drenched by the rain and freezing in the night I wanted to be by your side even just for a little while The warmth I want to feel until tomorrow You don't have to say it You don't have to say it Will vanish eventually That monochrome Firework, we will Imagine the night sky in rainbow colors During the dusk of Ragnarok What are we to see No matter how long the night The morning will arrive Monochrome Firework, we will Illuminate the world in rainbow colors Just smile
