Regarding things like them not remembering what they did live etc. You have to remember that they are pretty much playing characters. In this interview or anytime you see them doing babymetal stuff they aren't Suzuka Nakamoto, Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi they are Su-metal, Moametal and Yuimetal so ofcourse they actually do remember their live shows but the characters they play don't. They are kind of like wrestlers in that regard that they are always in character. Ofcourse nowadays they tend to slip out of those characters a bit more and show us their true selves too since they are seasoned veterans at this point and more comfortable going a bit offscript from time to time.

Actually, they didn't remember them in the early days, actually often still don't remember a lot, it's because of how much hype/fun it is and because of the physical exertion. This compresses the time (time goes slow when you are sad, but fast when you are having fun, also means your memory is less accurate). Anyway... they made it part of the lore. 🙂

@@autohmae Oh damn didn't know that. Well still that "fox god enters us" part is still just them being in character. And yeah I remember that Moa even nowadays gives that old "I don't remember" answer but Su has given pretty detailed answers when asked about their liveshows. Maybe it's easier for Su to remember stuff since she doesn't have to think about the choreo as much as Moa and Yui and now Momoko ofcourse.

@@Tyyppl Moametal especially long term can't remember specifics. Which is a different problem. If you do as many shows as they do, they probably get jumbled together what happened when and at what show, etc. All the way back in Sakura Gakuin every performance in SG would be discussed after the show and it seems they still do this. So they have dinner or at least some food after the show and talk about what went well and how to improve things.

Haha nice! I love this one, they were so adorable! “Death” is a play on words for “desu”. It’s their cute and metal way of introducing themselves. Babymetal desu! Ijime, Dame, Zettai was their debut single after they split from Sakura Gakuin in 2013. Their first song is actually Doki Doki Morning, which debuted Nov 2010. I think you also wanted to do a guide. I suppose that they're calling IDZ the debut because it was the first song release once Babymetal split from Sakura Gakuin following Su's graduation. Doki Doki Morning was the first single from Babymetal but they were still a sub-unit at that time.

I think a part of the original lore was that the Fox God posessed them when they performed as Moametal, Yuimetal, and Su-metal, which is why they say they don't have memories of their performances.

You have lived in Japan? So you seem to understand Japanese. According to Wikipedia Japanese Edition, that video clip was broadcast in 22th June 2013. But I didn't know BM at all at that time! It wasn't a very good time in my life, too, you know... Well, it is okay. The MC, Taka and Toshi are still a popular comedy duo in Japan (I don't like them that much..😆). When the girls appeared on the TV, 'Megitsune' was released just before it, so they were wearing Kimono-based outfits of that song at that time. In January the same year, 'Ijime..' was released as the major debut single. I found it out now, but at 8:47, that the girls said that they want to 'metari' (maybe, it means 'to do metal') with Taka and Toshi, but about 10 years later, the girls really released 'metali', lol. PS. The Japanese 'line Ra' (ら, り, る, れ, ろ) (ra, ri, ru, re, ro) uses the letter R in Romaji writings, but the pronunciation is almost the same of L in English. That is why Japanese people are indifferent to the pronunciation of L and R. That's why Japanese people don't really care whether the 'metari' is written in 'metari' or 'metali'. That's a problem, lol. Thank you so much from Japan!

Yes! I used to go to school in Japan. Ra Ri Ru Re Ro was interesting to learn haha. My teacher said it was like L but she pronounced it like R, Ive always have used both depending on who I speak too lol. I've seen their show before on TV when I was in Japan but I never really watched it haha. Thank you for commenting!!!

Desu, pronounced Des. is like "i am" " we are" so Su-metal des. is basically saying Su-metal i am. but with English order, I am Su-mmetal. so, i am Su- metal, I am Moa metal, I am Yui metal, we ar ebabymetal.
