I'm glad to hear you already enjoy it. For me L&D is another great pop rock ballad with beautiful SuMetal vocals piercing into our hearts. Love the J-pop sound from 2000 and the nostalgic vibes mixed with the edm sound. 'Light and Darkness' is a long way towards the pop end of the BABYMETAL sliding scale, but this was the studio audio - the live audio with the KamI Band's instrumentals moves it back along that sliding scale a bit at least. You were right, it fits well as the 9th track of the album - I'm impressed you predicted what the 10th track would be like.

@@Roguenjosh I saw them when they opened for BABYMETAL in Brixton, London in 2019. They were very good - not my thing, but I could appreciate what they were doing.

It has that vibe on the studio version, but live is a lot heavier. I got to hear at it at Makuhari and and again at Clear Night, and it definitely has a more metal feel with the Kami band playing it.

👍 👍 This of course is the MV with studio audio mixed with LIVE footage. LIVE Pro Shot videos of these concerts are drifting out (visually filtered but LIVE audio) and Suzuka’s vocals are as always better than studio. During a break in the song Monochrome Suzuka asks the audience to “Take out your phone” and “Turn on your light!” She then says “That’s amazing!” “Looks like stars!” she then begins to hum the lyrics while 20,000 lights surround the stage. Mesmerizing.
