Kobametal and his production team are INSANE musical geniuses! WTF! The remaining songs that came out today are seriously blowing my mind! Also the SAXOPHONE in THE LEGEND really surprised me!🤘🦊🤘

Saxophone is the it thing to put in metal currently. Periphery had a sax solo, and didn't also Sleep token have one, and Shrezzers also has sax on their new album. It's the 2023 thing to do in metal.

Free Jazz/Punk Jazz/Hardcore was a serious thing in the late 80s/early 90s in Japan travelling to the US mainly through John Zorn who had spend some time in Japan and further developed the sound. Saxophone has found its way especially into Black Metal a long time ago. Sigh have been doing it for ages. White Ward (although a younger band) used it as a *main* instrument in their music as well. Both bands have been criticised for that. It might be a weird comparison in these crazy days but it's like we are finally entering the stage where even the mainstream starts to believes that the earth is round/that music doesn't have to be restricted to certain instruments after a long 30 years of denial and holding onto prejudices. Of course now people perceive it as something new and "edgy".....

Koba be trolling naysayers. This album takes the whole “you never know what BabyMetal will do next” to the extreme. I’m all for it. Even more people will say “this reminds me of anime” haha. I can’t wait for BabyMetal to announce their schedule for their US leg of their tour. I will. I need to see BabyMetal Live again. Personally, my favorite track in this album is Believing. That said, I’ve been known to change my mind as BabyMetal got too many godamn good songs in each album. I need to witness Su’s vocal greatness. Momoko’s sheer joy on stage. Moa’s energy and beauty.

SU-METAL: First of all, THE OTHER ONE isn’t the main story of BABYMETAL. It was made during the time we took a break from doing concerts after our ten-year METAL RESISTANCE saga, so the album is about “an alternate BABYMETAL.” At the same time, we’re sometimes called “Kawaii Metal” but don’t think that’s the only thing we’re about. We want to make new music, so we don’t want to be tied down by that image. We want to show another side like this and hope people will enjoy this, too. On top of that, BABYMETAL’s new main story will begin again, so please look forward to that as well.

excellent content Wave-Metal, it was really nice of them to name a song after you huh Wave? I love your enthusiasm and technical know-how, now if a person can't find something about this album to love, then they probably only hate the world and themselves, too bad for them... anyway, BABYMETAL is only proving again, why they are the best, just wait until the Kami band gets ahold of these new songs, and btw I'm glad it got unblocked, probably because they now have these audio singles on their YT page.

I love Su's cadence in METALIZM ( I WISH we got more of it. a 3rd verse or something) Her vocal control reminds me of Shanti Shanti Shanti, just not as much effluxion. And the beat is sooooo good. The 2 guitar solo type shredding parts are going to be amazing live. VERY curious what the choreography for it will be like. Moa is going to KILL IT. I feel like this song NEEDS it's own costume.🤘🦊🤘 I almost die laughing every time someone hears the Sax come in. I am falling in love with Legend more in more. I feel like Su is singing directly to me. I love the change up too. Tempo is a little quicker and just covers me in warmth. 🤘🦊🤘❤

Oh, well, we should know better now, Koba IS a troll, of course he couldn't resist the chance to mislead the most 😂! I mean, I got the digital gallery, for months they didn't give any snippet for one only song, turn out it was the background music of the gallery itself and we actually have been listening at that all the time, that's the guy 😂! This album is incredibly good, loving it already, arguably their best so far 👌 🤘🦊⚡️

Great reaction video as I have not yet heard these songs either. All of this is great and kudos to Koba Metal for creating 13 years of songs for baby metal and coming up with these mixes of genres and styles. Another thing I have noticed over the decade I have listened to babymetal is the songs are maturing with the ladies. They are not 12 year olds, they are now 23 and 25 years old and this is what I would want to hear from them. You mentioned Nemophila, also great and they themselves are babymetal fans and actually did a cover of babymetal complete with the ponytails. These songs sounded larger than life audio only, when Babymetal does these live, it will be insane.

Lately I've seen some people in Japan use some of those synthethizers that are played like a wind instrument, like the EWI5000 and that stuff. Maybe that kind of digital saxophone is what is being played in The Legend.

I got to say ,Metalizm is pandora box of the album. In a good way ofc. Seeing your expresion just made my day. Also Cheb Mammi (desert rose) would be proud of Su-metal at that one. Dubstep married to metal ? Overkill by Riot introduced me to this side of metal. Just for reminder, back in their early days,Su already state that their main audience is female listener,so its not surprising why BM released softer or poppier song before the hard one. Maybe thats their strategy to made female audience hook up . As for us The One ,we already know their album is a box of mistery wait to discover :) And love your reaction. Edit : now I'm waiting Gaijin guys covering Metalizm

Maya is the best song. Such a vibe. Time wave is fun for a pop song. The problem I'm having with this album is that Su voice is too processed and too many vocal effects. I'm not a fan of those kind of vocals. Also, where the hell did the guitar solos go?

I also feel they released the worst songs xD Am I the only one that in "Believing" I hear the Tatu song when they sing "All the things she said"? 🤣🤣 Babymetal already had Indian music blended in a song: if you haven't checked it out yet, check "Shanti, Shanti, Shanti" from their third album YOu talking about Dubstep fusion, I don't remember which BM shows you watched, but BM has been integrating dubstep from the beginning. You should check out: - "Uki Uki Midnight" live at Budokan 2014 (from first album) - "Headbanger Night of 15 mix" live from Legend 1997 in 2013 (played only twice, it's the beginning of the Legend 1997 show together with a nice AveMaria) - "From Dusk Till Dawn" live at Budokan 2021 (from second album)

METALIZM's beat its similar to Vini Vici, a EDM artist with Psy-trance genre. This song particularly is a combine between Psy-trance and metal which is insane. I can't imagine when in Tomorrowland or Ultra this song will be dropped by EDM artists 🤣

Nice reaction overall. Due to your comments I would recommend Dir en grey's "Toguro" and "Reiketsu Nariseba" to you. If you are yet unfamiliar with the band, it's a 26 year old Japanese VK band still running in their original line-up. They have been touring overseas since 2005. Each of their 11 LPs had a fairly different and unique sound. The songs above are from their 2008 album UROBOROS (the entire album is worth checking out if you have the time. But go for the remastered and extended version which has the superior mix)
