A lot of the haters complain about the high, screechy vocals and how it isn't "trve metal" ... but Rob Halford always did that when he was singing 'Painkiller' and he is the 'Metal God' after all. They all did an interview together after this - Rob Halford described Su, Yui and Moa as "Metal Monster Ladies". When Painkiller came out in 1990 and in all the years since where it has been described as one of the quintessential metal songs, I bet nobody ever thought they would see 65 year old Rob singing it in a duet with an 18 year old Japanese girl. It is great seeing Su just rocking out and having a good time - they played this medley again when they were supporting Red Hot Chilli Peppers, just Su on vocals but Chad Smith of RHCP on drums (complete with Kami Band face paint) ... and he gave Su a birthday cake at the end (she was 19 the next day). I saw your reaction to 'Pa Pa Ya' got blocked or something (it was gone almost as soon as you posted it) which is a real shame, I was looking forward to seeing what you made of it. I hope you can get that up in some form or another.

@0okamino "Through boiling clouds if thunder Blasting bolts of steel Evils going under deadly wheels He is the painkiller This is the painkiller Faster then a laser bullet Louder than an atom bomb Chromium plated boiling metal Brighter than a thousand suns Flying high on rapture Stronger free and brave Nevermore encaptured They've been brought back from the grave With mankind resurrected Forever to survive Returns from Armageddon to the skies" Rather than just being "Extreme", or "Metal" this one seems more meaningful than most songs in the genre. It reminds me of the kamishibai/narration before 'No Rain, No Rainbow' at 'Legend S'.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🦊 🤘 🏍 That Alternative Press Music Awards (APMA) show was July 18th, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio. Not really a metal crowd, more Alternative Rock and such. Fortunately we had some fans in the front row. Su is usually dead serious on stage, but she can't contain her joy at sharing the stage with Rob Halford. He's been super supportive ever since he met the girls at a metal festival several years ago. Yui is a beginning guitar player, but Moa has been studying the guitar for a few years. They were probably pretty low in the mix since they had Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Takayoshi Ohmura on stage with them. NOTE: Thanks to @John Schultz for pointing out my typo (American instead of Alternative). Fixed.

"Passing a torch," yes, absolutely! Actually Rob Halford called them, "the future of metal" at the interview just after this show. I still remember the first time I saw a show of BABYMETAL on KZbin, SU-METAL reminded me of Rob Halford at the legendary US Festival.

Great reaction, i see like myself you love Su's vocal ability and as for the End bit " see you" they used to do it at the end of there shows . It was great to hear and see 3 little cute girls say this and as they walk off thousands of big hairy metal fans shouting" see you " back at them. I think you now know why there fans are so loyal and really love them. i like to think they bring out the best iñ all of us. No matter how i feel listening to them makes me happy. One thing i can guarantee when you see them and meet the other Kitsunes ( us fans )you will get that Babymetal feel good effect.

For us older folks, this is truly epic. To think that Rob Halford would be on stage with a Japanese metal group with three teen girls on vocals and choreography would of been derided as crazy talk in the 1970's. They have had very vocal support from Rob Zombie and most likely you have seen some of the many photos of Moa, Su and Yui in front of world class metal/rock bands posing with their fox sign. Rick Wagner, has explained about the venue and other details :-)

great reaction!!! please react to more Babymetal, Ijime Dame Zettai live in Sonisphere 2014 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKCQkJaYm8mlj6c was the first metal festival outside of Japan and a big win for the girls and the Kami Band also that show put them on the map of the world, on that day they had many things against them, they changed them from a smaller stage for about 5,000 fans, to the main stage from one day to the next, they faced 60 thousand metal heads, most did not know them and there was fear that They will reject them. .. But as the show progressed they won over the fans and in the end they even asked for another song! It was great and this song was the one that closed his performance ... Ijime Dame Zettai = not more bullying forever ... That's what it means.

This is the only band that I can honestly say always bring a smile and joy when watching them. There are two other bands that I can think of that always seem be having fun - Band-Maid and Gacharic Spin, but Babymetal is on a different plane of existence.

Moa is actually playing guitar on and off since she's 11 or 12. She also played it on stage at her 20th birthday concert in July '19 at Babymetal ARISES - BEYOND THE MOON in her hometown (Nagoya). Where she by the way really sang, which would probably be a super good video for you to show. After watching that many clips where she's in the background always having one liners it would knock your socks off. But I don't know if it's gonna be taken down because of copyright. You can actually buy those guitars, though they are quite expensive. It does make sense that they would be expensive though. They have an awesome Babymetal exclusive design on them, and they wouldn't sell anything like that that wasn't high quality so it would be pricey even without the Babymetal special designs on it.
