Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍 Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?

The word "アゲ(Age)" that MOA is singing in the chorus is a slang word used by Japanese youth, meaning "feeling good" or "feeling excited". Your reaction is アゲ！

You're right about it being a party song. "Crash the morning light" I would take to mean they're going to dance until dawn and them stumble out of the club into the daylight. In a weird way, it kind of makes sense. Both Babymetal and Electric Callboy are both considered outliers in the metal world because they are all about making metal fun and approachable, and they did that with this song.

The craziest band from Germany who perfected partycore, and the craziest band from Japan who invented kawaii-metal. NOTHING can go wrong when they make a song together.

Welcome back to BabyMetal's journey 🦊🤘🐭 You got it right, this was totally unexpected collab but after knowing the roots and influence from both groups it makes totally sense. Since you like to make some lyrics analysis and such here's something i found it could be interesting for you: The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus but it's probably used way back before in more songs. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with some guitar elements. The breaking the wall scene is clearly an homage to Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres. Also one of the singers is holding up the cable with electricity during the breakdown is a reference to "The Cable Guy" movie. Btw when I saw the MV the first time i thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although later fans spotted in the live version she was doing the backing growlings, so it was her after all. There are probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did recently: - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV Keep enjoying more BM songs and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥

Not really Babymetal simply went to their show and after the show they had one Opinion. We break Birders, they break borders, this fits.the sizes, the business Background everything simply fits.
