I LOVE that she said she doesn’t want to be a mini version of someone. I like this because so many (well meaning) fans keep desperately trying to say each babymonster member is another version of some other yg artist.

Yess.... Specially Blackpink. I'm a YG stan and a blink from looong time (since 2011) and I get why some people say thay "she reminds me of this idol" but some just overdo it by a lot. Like many blinks saying that pharita got rosé's voice, ruka is cute like rosé (even saying she's mini rosé), Ahyeon is jennie's daughter and bla bla bla... Like can you guys stop being over obsessed with BP and see Babymonster as Babymonster? I hated when at the time of BP debut, people were comparing them with 2NE1 and I'm hating the fact that same thing is still going even after 7 freaking years. I love Blackpink for their originality, and i love BABYMONSTER for their original TALENT,, not because they are "mini" blackpink 🖤💗
