If you remember the earlier episodes, both Pharita and Ahyeon had sore throats. Ahyeon is Chiquita's roomate and sleeps in the bunk above her. So I think it's highly likely she was at least exposed to the virus. YG probably will never admit whether other girls were sick or not; they don't want to look like they're not taking care of the girls.

Starting in June 2023, it is illegal under Korean laws for an entertainment (music, movie, TV, etc) company to publicly disclose or discuss the health of their minor artist/trainee. The only things the company can legally disclose is: 1. The minor artist/trainee is going on hiatus for health concerns. 2. The minor artist/trainee is now healthy and will be returning from hiatus in X amount of time. In addition, if a minor artist/trainee goes on hiatus for health concerns then they must have mandatory time off equal to or greater than twice the amount of time the minor's doctors recommends. Furthermore, in order to return from hiatus for health concerns, there must be unanimous agreement to do so from the company, the minor artist/trainee, the minor's parents, and the minor's doctors. If there is no unanimous agreement, then the hiatus status will continue until everyone agrees to end it.

One of the reasons the laws changed was because of how YG Entertainment disclosed her health status during the Last Evaluation reality show. K-netizens criticized how it was revealed in order to show how YG mistreated their minor artists/trainees. That public outcry was one of the reasons for the Korean Government to change the laws on what a company can do with their minor artist/trainee. How Hybe, SM, and JYP treated their minor artists/trainees were the other reasons for the changes to the laws.

The k-netizen criticism of YG Entertainment revealing Chiquita's health during the Last Evaluation reality show was primarily that it should have never been revealed and it was only done for advertising/drama for the show to increase ratings. The Last Evaluation reality show was filmed in Spring 2022 and released to the public in Spring 2023. So, YG Entertainment including her health status in the show was perceived as a reality show ratings decision. Hence, the changes to Korean laws to ban a company from disclosing or discussing the health of their minor artist/trainee.

The core team, Ahyeon, Ruka, Asa, Rora and Rami have been doing these evaluations at the end of each month for 4 to 5 plus years. They get around 30 days preparation time before month end Live evaluations. Pharita for 2 plus years and Chiquita for 1 to 2 years

Just a point to add. For that 30 days, they still go YG and do all the other trainings like exercises, dancing practice, vocal practice, language lessons/pronunciation, foreign language lesson esp Japanese, learn etiquette and public speaking etc etc. They have a bit of time allocated for them to prepare for their evaluation. If they want more time to practice, then they have to practice in their room with a mirror (esp for facial expression).

Babymonster has no leader. In one of the latest videos where they announced their fandom name Monstiez, they said they all have the leader mindset, i.e., no leader. But Rami and Ahyeon helps teach the girls with singing and Ruka leads them when they have dance practices.

Great Reaction K-pop On Lock! We found out that Billboard was watching these evaluations because they actually put RAMI on Billboard Top 10 Daily Trends! She was with 17, Taeyang, IKON, Jackson Wang and Taylor Swift! She was #8 for that day! When they work on an assignment they get 30 Days to work on it! YG will do a Midcheck on day 15! Just to make sure they are on the right track! The Evaluation are done in one day but may split up due to time constraints! Chiquita had problems with Sorry and Funny and will have a few issues with the next project as well! It’s really great y’all are doing two at a time! 🧸🙏🏻

Not Ahyeon's fault. She trained for 4 years as a hip hop rap YG artist. She likely presented very well but clearly YG wanted to change directions for Ahyeon towards being a high range vocalist. Great watching but this sudden change up clearly led to Ahyeon hurting her vocals and could not debut with the other girls. The payoff has been that Charlie Puth was super impressed and gifted a song, Like That to Baby Monster which will be on their mini album in April.
