The thing with Ruka is that in both her 1st performance video and then in this solo mission performance. She already has a good sense of who she is as an artist. She knows her strengths really well and when she performs she takes command of the whole stage. There’s a reason why Yang Hyunsuk said she has the most hip hop element and that she has that YG DNA aka YG STYLE. As Lee Jung (the choreographer/dance trainer) said, Ruka’s strength is not only being one of the best dancers, but her experience in performing. Her stage presence is INSANEEE.. she really puts the “MONSTER” in BABYMONSTER. Just like she said in her rap in this performance “MONSTER WITHOUT ME, IS JUST BABY.” Both of Ruka’s performances are the kind of stages/performances you see in a full blown concert you know? She gives you stage presence, low tone rapping, some flow changes her rap, song switch up, and even a dance break. This girl knows how to put together an all around solid and entertaining performance. But yeah she’s actually my 2nd favorite performance out of the solo performances. Haram edged her out for my #1 favorite performance. I love Jazmin Sullivan songs, it’s my style of music and Haram is one of my favorite vocals in BABYMONSTER. She really came out and SANG…and put me in all kinds of emotions when she was singing. That girl knows how to play with her notes and just captivate you. My bias line since Day 1 is Ruka, Asa, and Haram. I respect, love, and is equally impressed with Pharita, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita. They’re all so talented!! But I related and just connected more with Ruka, Asa, and Haram. I also feel that sometimes those 3 + Rora doesn’t get enough recognition or screen time especially in the Last Evaluation episodes. But that’s just how I feel…maybe that’s why I tend to root for them just a little bit more? Again.. I love OT7 and I have 3 biases and 4 wreckers. 😂

Chiquita just got her voice back couple days before evaluation day. So she could not sing low key. If listen back to record room singing , it was very much better than this.

Ruka hits hard. Every time she comes in and switches the flow it gives the song a surprise kick. Love her.

Haram shone brightest. It’s always the most talented that are least biased. Majority of “fans” only support the visuals and not talent. Just like Rosé & now Haram
