Yes all of their vocalists are so very good. There’s just something about Rami and Ahyeon’s style and vocal tone that is very unique and unmatched by others in the industry. They have unique sounds and it’s absolutely amazing considering they’re like 16/17 😂 BM are so talented. I can’t even point at a weak link in this group, that’s how good they are.

AKMU is from YG as well, a brother sister duo. Their both very well known in South Korea. Lee Suhyun's part in the song, which Rami sang is one of the hardest part of the song and made it her own with those twist and runs. Ahyeon outdid herself to an already iconic cover of Dangerously during evaluation. So proud of these girls overall, this is just the start for them and we are all here for it❤️‍🔥👏😍 Hope you'll get to check AKMU out too, they have a Killing Voice episode for a start/intro of some of their songs 👫🩵

Everything sounds like an awesome song when Rami sings it. You need to watch the entire show. they did so awesome the Knowing Bros guys were not only impressed with their singing and dancing. They were extremely impressed by how they (as kids) handled the whole situation and were funny, sweet, and entertaining. When Ahyeon and Rami each finished all hell broke loose. You have to see the entire show. vocals: Rora = honey, Ahyeon = velvet, Rami = silk, Pharita = satin, Chiquita = baby's hair, Asa = a sunny day, Ruka = a mixture of Rora and Jisoo. BTW Ruka's normal English speaking voice is totally different than when she is rapping. Watch the behind the scenes fansign event on BM YT channel to hear it.

To compare Ahyeon and Rami, you should carefully listen to them performing Dream. Listen to their tone, their musicality and how they emote. For me, both are crazy good and are the best that female kpop has to offer. My bias is Ahyeon as she is extremely charismatic on stage as well as her unreal enthusiasm when she meets fans in person or interact with fans online.

Some brief history... Akmu is a sibling (brother/sister) duo made up of Lee Su-Hyun and her brother, Lee Chan-Hyuk. Lee Su-Hyun was a mentor for Babymonster during the Last evaluation series. They were quite popular 7 or so years ago in Korea, but I think maybe they were overshadowed by Blackpink's rise to super stardum. Rami refers to this is "dolphin technique". You now see why Rami and Ahyeon are the ad-lib backup vocal queens. Chiquita is the biggest fan girl over the other members. It's adorable, really. Ahyeon's vocal acrobatics and agility is...well, no one else I've heard can do it, except for Rami. They each have their own tone and style and seem to do it effortlessly.

AKMU debuted in 2014. At the time of their debut, Lee ChanHyuk was 17 and Lee SuHyun was 14. Lee SuHyun being a mentor for Babymonster was ideal since she is a top tier vocalist and has experienced what it's like being a minor artist growing up in the K-POP industry. Supposedly, Lee SuHyun's viewpoints on cosmetic surgery is why Papa YG changed his mind on the topic, and implemented the current ban on cosmetic surgery for YG trainees and artists. AKMU last comeback, "Love Lee" was released on 2023-08-21 and was the #1 song on the Korean Circle Digital Chart for six weeks.

Check out AKMU if you love great singing. Lee Suhyun and Lee Chanhyuk, brother and sister, YG's preeminent singing group for a while now. (YG has other great singers, but singing is what AKMU is all about.) And they are super-popular in Korea. Besides Dinosaur, one of their immortal ballads ruled the Korean charts: "How can I love the heartbreak, you're the one I love." And many others featuring textured harmonies and Suhyun's golden soprano. Oh, they write, compose and arrange all their stuff. Chanhyuk and Suhyun gave a lot of feedback to the babymonster girls in their evaluations.

For real. Choosing your fav vocalist in this group will come down to styling and I guess vocal preference. Because Rami and Ahyeon are good good you know but me personally, I love Roras tone ❤️ it's from the evaluation up to now.

Rami is much more R&B because the runs are a big part of R&B. Ahyeon has some runs, but she's more about belting and has sang more pop songs. Rami has done more R&B type songs. Also, there are no whistle notes done here because to reach a whistle note, the singer has to reach notes above D6. Rami only reached a D5 but it is an incredible note to reach, but no whistle note here. Go BABYM😈NS7ER
