I’m the biggest blink, BLACKPINK is my favorite group and one of my favorite artists in general but did you expect YG to sit still and never debut another (girl) group again? Baemon isn’t being pushed down anyone’s throats, this is literally how a debut should go: strong concept and talented performers. Yeah BP didn’t renew individually, so? How is that in any way related to BM? The pinks are at a stage in their careers where they can and should make decisions that will benefit them as individuals. They’re still a group under YG that hasn’t changed. The comparisons are inevitable, people expected the pinks to disband completely and for history to repeat itself like it did w 2ne1/BP except it didn’t. The BP girls made the decision they made probably due to what they know and what we also know (individual contracts trap you and it doesn’t go well for the artist).
