If you know the background of when this song was released, it was actually when Blackpink had only signed part of their YG contract which is only for group activities. YG could not secure their solo contracts and was left very much in the Stuck in the middle status. Baby Monster and Blackpink are sister groups with YG. If you have watched Batter Up, you may have wondered why Batter Up? Batter Up in baseball is the Umpire's call for the next batsman to step up to bat. Most of Batter Up have bars. It is a rap song and if you watch several times you will start to see the personal messaging between YG and Blackpink.
