Jennie being a gentle mentor was the least expected but I'm actually really glad. She knows how hard it is to be a trainee as she trained for almost 7 years, so she knows well how these trainees feel and does her best to cheer them up and motivate them gently. What a warm way to mentor.

Pharita’s vocals are so beautiful ❤ (edit: I didn’t expect this to get so many likes but since it did I want to add more; I didnt expect myself to get into baby monster, I’m a very casual kpop listener and not a serious kpop stan of any group but Pharita has really catched my attention. Not only are her vocals absolutely beautiful but her aura and personality is just as charming. I deeply hope she gets to debut as a group member, if not then hopefully as a soloist in YG soon, she really has great potential as an artist. Will be looking forward and will be following the journey with Pharita on her career!

Pharita and Ahyeon's voices are so beautiful. Pharita has a soft and angelic appearance and can very well be the visual and main/lead singer while Ahyeon has this leader vibe - her looks are versatile. If you know what I mean. Idk how to explain it lol their voices gives me chillssss. We didn't see much of Ruku's talent in this episode, but I know from her intro, she's a badass rapper. I'm excited to see their performance!! Rose's song is a great choice.

I love how YG allows them to keep it real. Like being silly, making weird noises , weird faces and being loud etc. I find it adorable. I love how they are not being forced to carry the picture perfect image of an idol. Otherwise nowadays idols feel robotic to some extent even their expression seem to be controlled by their agencies. This is what sets YG apart from others.

Not gonna lie, this is a wicked thing to be posted. We get to see what YG is looking for in their idols, we see how a group performance is being built, the advice the trainees get, the struggles, the curveballs, the effort... Jennie's words literally got me floored. The switch of parts between Ahyeon and Pharita, Ruka asking for help with her pronunciation. The AMOUNT OF TIME everybody put in for this perfomance (and I am talking about every person involved in it in any shape or form) is mind-blowing. Now I GET why Blackpink does not put out song after song after song. It's quality over quantity, as it should be. I only hope two things: 1. To have our 7 member lineup intact. 2. That YG will do this kind of content for all the upcoming groups, to show us how they formed them. Maybe do this for Blackpink too? It would be fun to have this too. So.... THANK YOU TO EVERYONE INVOLVED. I really hope though all 7 girls will be debuting together. ^^

Seeing how many people and time was involved with just an evaluation performance, what more when it comes to an actual song to be released. YG really make insane preparations and make sure it's perfect when it goes out, hence the long hiatus between songs/albums. YG also has this way of making fans so invested in their groups, hence making sure they'll have a solid fanbase once they debut and showing the process makes fans really feel invested and go along their trainee journey. Magnificent strategy IMO.

Pharita has such a sweet and gentle personality. Felt sad for her when she had to give up her parts to Ahyeon and Ahyeon responded frustratedly, which probably made Pharita feel guit. Hopefully Pharita can learn to speak out more! She is so talented.

More than frustrated, she's worried. Imagine she have to make all of those "cleaning the windows" part (kidding aside) alone. They think the performance is a make or break performance, Ahyeon must have felt pressure when they have to pass the parts to her.
