This got uploaded on my 55th birthday and it's one of my faves from the baby account. I was there throughout the 80s and immersed in music of all kinds. This reimagining of that style and aesthetic (vaporwave) is absolutely spot-on. It's nostalgic and futuristic. As a person who spent ages 11-21 in the 80s, I can't get enough of this wonderful stuff. You're my fave channel on YT.

I was 8 years old. A long difficult road ahead, tons of setbacks, uncertain future. Frustrating present, but thankfully, no longer in such a dark place that I considered I was done and wanted to check out early. If I did, I would have missed out on joys from unexpected corners.

The second track, I'm re-imagining the visuals of the Never Ending Story city, retro style, but with todays futurism, far more sprawling and lots of flying contraptions and activity from the perspective of riding that dragon as Bastian or Atreyu.
