Never let someone who's had 4 of their own children taken away and has a record of child abuse babysit your children

this is 100% Marissa's fault. But there's a lesson to be learnt here: never EVER let your kids be looked after by parents who have lost custody of their own children!!!

The 911 operator didn’t even ask how old the baby was, which was a 2m old infant. It’s not like CPR on an adult, tween or teenager. Infant’s (and toddler’s) ribs are extremely soft & their lungs are extremely FRAGILE! Chest compressions are quick but shallow using only TWO (2) fingers (not palm of🤚🏼) pressing approx.2” down while counting 1,2,3,4 - 1,2,3,4 at normal speed and a few quick but shallow breaths like every 30sec. These breaths are over both the mouth AND the nose (not pinching nose like an adult). Breathes should be very shallow so there’s not too much air being forced into their tiny lungs. Think of a regular blow up balloon for a kids party. Then think of those really small H2o balloons. They’re only meant to take a small capacity of H2o b4 it BURTS! A small child, ESPECIALLY an infant’s, lungs are like the H2o balloon. Very small & only able to take a small capacity of air. The operator told her to hold his nose and didn’t tell her to do the small shallow breaths or the 2 finger compressions. The reason this is so important is bc full deep adult breaths delivered fully into a baby/infant can/will blow out their lungs. Their tiny fragile lungs can’t handle that large amount of oxygen from a full adult breath. Also, you can do this CPR on infants while laying them across one of ur arms (their head in ur elbow crook & butt in ur hand. This position makes it easier to deliver these life saving moves.

I find it baffling that a couple that got their kids taken away and have 2 cases of potential child abuse against them were even allowed to babysit.

Her face when they told her the baby was dead is honestly frightening. Her attempt to pretend to cry through that maniacal grin was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.

Never leave your child alone with anyone who looks and acts like a crackhead. Judge the book by its cover. Better safe than sorry........ (Or read the damn book before leaving your kid with them if you are too sensitive about being a meanypie for judging.🙄)

Why on Earth would anyone trust someone, who cant even legally see their own kids, with the task of babysitting?

THIS IS WHY CPS CASES SHOULD BE PUBLIC RECORD! The mother would have never let that woman babysit her child if she knew the babysitter had 4 of her kids taken away. You don’t have to release the kids name but I should be able to google the woman’s name and see that she’s had 4 children removed from her custody.

The question that kept pounding in my head was how could a mom leave her child with someone who was deemed unfit to take care of their own kids!

There should be a registry for child abusers like the Segs offenders registry. How do you leave your baby with someone who's had 4 of theirs taken away after a skull fracture incident? I'm sure Benson's mother wasn't aware of any of that.
