This story is really freaky but there are some problems. I feel like the ending is supposed to mean something but I don't understand what. Also, there is no real explanation as to what was actually going on in the story: what was that stuff that Abby was eating and why does she have to eat it? What exactly is Terissa and and why can't she be acknowledged? Why are you never allowed to take Abby out of the house? What's with the heavy duty doors? Why dose Abby need a baby picture and why are they collected? Why are you not allowed to eat inside the house? Why does Terissa have to allow into the basement? Why does Abby scream so much? All of these things don't make sense, but I can understand a few other things. You can't use the bathroom upstairs because it's not hooked to the water line. Abby probably needs music to feel safe, less alone, or to help her sleep. Abby has no eyes because of a medical condition. And then there's this other thing: it's said that Abby has an *overactive imagination* but that doesn't explain why she is locked up in a room all the time. I can understand why she moves back and forth across her room for several hours while making weird noises because she might have Maladaptive Disorder, (which I have myself) which is all about having an overactive imagination and will make you do stuff like that. I don't know if there's another part of this story, but if there is, I hope it answers all these questions.

Choq0lette burton 2005 there is another part to this story called My Sister Who Wrote Babysitting Instructions Went Missing and the narrator has said he intends to read that as well. In the written work, the last bit has sporadic capital letters that spell out SHE WON'T LET ME LEAVE HELP.

There are more parts to the story, 'My Sister Who Wrote Babysitting Instructions Went Missing" and "Note from the Previous Homeowner" if I remember the name right. The ending implies that the author isn't actually alright, because of the change in the way they speak/write, and that the "mother" is actually the one speaking in the end. The circumstances that you mentioned don't make sense are meant to be indicative of something more going on, not a medical condition like the end says.

This story along with its predecessor are both very satisfying. They tie nicely together. There are no big gaps in the writer's train of thoughts that take the reader out of the mood. The stories have an ambiance that draws the reader in. Vivid imagery can be seen behind the eyes of the reader and the skin gets a creeping sensation as he/she listens raptly to the story.

at the end there way no way it was the same person , afterall he was scared shitless and locked in a room and he hated the job. It must have been the mother who wrote those things so no one really knew what was going on , and she had copies of what he was writing so she never everything he said so she could easily fix it and make it seem as though everything was fine and dandy. Plus she said not to ask questions or he couldn't keep the jobs so there is no way he would ask about it , what he was saying wasn't overreacting it was truth.
